Red Rockcrawler
Trying to have Fun Again
I got mine today john what are you using for packing material. I thought you sent me a diaper at first.
It's a 20t pinion 87 spur, stock on the RTR. I had alot of full throttle action and you can't hold your finger on it for more than a couple seconds,. It started to make a loud like buzz at mid-low throttle, not noticable at speed, only noticed it out of the truck. It smooths out once you punch it. I hope I didn't break it.It depends on your gearing and rig weight. The 7t normally gets a bit warm in a 2.2, but not hot. I would suggest keeping under 160f, but it is doubtful you will get much past 110f.
I have a few 7t right now, and I am waiting for the factory to get more 10t made.
Don't know yet, read above statement.WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO HAVE SOME 10T motors available:roll:8)?

nothing looks burned. Still copper color. Seems ok, just vibrates a little at part throttle out of the truck. Is this too much motor for an 8cell 2/3a pack? If so what nicad cells would you recommend? (FXR pro so voltage limit isnt an issue)
