HH Servo

I never had a problem with this wiring set up.

The problem I was referring to was the servo twitching left, right, left, right, etc. quickly when sitting still. It's not the digital sound of the servo trying to find center.

I re-read my post and see how it is confusing.

I only have first hand experience with hitec and jr servos but it definitely sounds like you're experiencing something different from their buzzing. Maybe you can post a video?

try replacing the ground.
I have the "other" servo very much like the HH and it was not happy with out a solid ground.
I run both the servo and bec ground wire back to the neg. pole on my esc.

Just disappointed in this HH Servo. Just got my Second one and it failed . First one I got made a left I had unplugged the battery to get it back to Center the second one goes right same thing. I am running strait to bec and no problems with the JR servo I unplugged to put the HH servo in. Any help before I send it back?

Run it.. what!? Yep, if possible, just to try something.. run it..

I have one that started out that when I plugged the battery in it was straight. As soon as I turned the wheel, it would act up and turn right. (originally I unplugged as well, then I tried it again and again) it acted up, but I turned the wheels the other way, to keep it from burning up. But after turning the wheels back an forth, or turning them left cause they wanted to go right, they straightened out. It has since stopped acting up and runs great!

Does it make it right, maybe not, but it's something to try before sending it back.. maybe it works for you to.

I am just so frustrated with this $hit. To have to pull out this really messed up JR servo that shakes like my car is scared to my new HH servo that hasn't worked for me yet . pick one Today is friday you have a comp on sat. how pissed off would you be?

More then a little bit unhappy..
Post up if you give it a try and it straightens out and works?
I will . But this is my second one doing the almost same thing. every one told me hitec 7950 and I told them HH is coming out with the game changer servo. Boy am I eating thews words.....dough

I hear that.. I pulled a 50 to run an test the HH. I'm glad I stuck with it and didn't pull it right away.
8+lb scx with cms, the servo does do some fine work! When it's working fine...... ;)

I have about 8hrs on mine and it stopped acting up off the bat and stopped making as much noise.
It battles out of binds against the HH trailmaster Bl motor's ridiculous torque as well.. so overall, I'm happy with it. (I have only ever put faith into Hitec's, 50's an 80's, before myself, so this was a big leap of faith for me)

You are more than welcome to get a full refund on it while we collect data and examine the servos for the root problem. It seems to be a combination issue but we need a few more failures in hand to ensure it isn't hardware related. I think that is the funniest thing I have ever said: we need more failures :ror: But it is the nature of electronics, it takes a good sample to solve a mystery.

In my ebike storefront we sold a double failure on the battery management system. The customer rides the Ebike home, goes to use it the next day, then it doesn't turn on. Just like how we test servos, the batteries were joyridden before leaving. Third replacement of the BMS solved it.

I greatly appreciate every failure yall can give us, it means a lot.

The first kickoff may be stumbling into the game, but I'll be sure that we play all the way though and do it right "thumbsup" If the 7950 is our bar, then I'll take that challenge.

Whew! Glad to hear it wasn't just me that had this thing go a little wonky at startup. Mine didn't cut left or right as bad as yours guys' did, just didn't center quite right, felt vague. But as said, just kept sawin' 'er back and forth and works fine. Mine only took not but a minute, probably less than a dozen back & forths.
We've gotten into the age where many ESCs need to be calibrated to 'learn' their endpoints, maybe the controllers in servos are getting to be the same. Or, perhaps the newly manufactured pots in these things needs a little time to break in and smooth out. If my rudimentary tenth grade education is at all correct, I might guess the pots got wound with (anti-corrosion) coated wire instead of bare, and it'll take a few swipes of the wiper to scrape that off there. (shrug)

Sorry to hear you're not the least bit happy, Laser. We certainly understand your frustration. But at least give the run-in a try and see if it works. Wish you good luck with it.

I have tried 2 battery's threw it and still the same thing . there is no rime or reason it just stops working and makes a left. working working not working. awwwwww

Take a vid rus, sounds like the gain is out of whack.

It's starting to make less noise. But, it makes the noise even though I'm turning left to right. I'm hoping the sound will go away completely with more run time.

Other than the noise, this servo is working well for my truck.

I cant remember my youtube account password/username.
