You would probably be better off asking this question in the General Scale forum or maybe even in the Newbie forum. Also, try doing a search. There's been quite a few of those built and posted on hereI just got a high lift and don't know where to start I know what I want but I can't afford to much right now. I plan on getting bearings first before I put it together no sense in ripping it apart later I figure but I don't know how many bearings I need and I was planning on spending around $30-50 is there a set I can get on ebay? Is there any tips anyone can give with this kit? This is my first kit.
I purchased a 3s,1300 mAh LiPo and a LBA 10 balancer from you in January. The LBA 10 is defective, I would like to know if there was/is a warranty on the balancer?
In the past 2 weeks, when ever I try to charge-balance a LiPo or a stand alone discharge balance, the trouble code for a 'higher voltage than expected' flashes, and it tells me that cell #3 is the high voltage cell. It tells me this for all 4 of my LiPos, yet when I use a charger with a built in balancer, I have no issues with my batteries.
The charger that I normally use is an Onyx 230. The LiPos are (3) 1300, 3s. ( one from you, 2 from Heli-direct.com the 'Outrage XP ' series.
The 4th LiPo is a Max Amps 2000 mAh, 3s battery.
Thanks for any responce.
Certainly a warranty on it. Send it on back, would you like a replacement or refund?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!! i have an old Revolver AND I JUST SNAPED THE SHAFT OFF IT!!!! do you guys have any in stock or would you be able to tell me what kind of material its made out of so i can try to find a new one somewhere. btw i love this motor so much it can creap or have a lot of wheel speed.
Hey John, I'm running one of your 500 puller motors in my 2.2 EB Scaler with an Elite 2200 3-cell lipo, Axial tranny with 12/84 gearing, transfer case, and an FXR. I've noticed that the motor gets pretty hot so I've been taking it easy on it until I could check it with a temp gun. I ran it pretty hard tonight, borrowed a gun from my neighbor, and it's running in the 170 -175 degree range. Is this going to be OK if I just keep it around 170 degrees, or is this too hot? I'd rather not gear it down, the wheelspeed is just about perfect. Thanks alot. Tim.
I recently purchased a 1300mah 25C 2 Cell Lipo from you. It's one of your brand batteries, I guess. I have charged it and balanced it once. I ran it for about 20 min in my MRC and then unplugged it and set it aside. I went to run it today, plugged it in and my Castle Mamba Micro Pro would never arm. I thought that my DX3R lost it's bind, tried rebinding it...nothing. I then tried another battery and it worked fine. I plugged your battery into my charger and it read 3.72V. My cut off in my ESC is set to 6V, I just double checked it. It isn't taking a charge now, tried charging it at .1 amp to try to jump it back to life, but it's gone. Most that it gets to is about 4.5V then cuts off. Have you seen these batteries draining like this after just sitting for about a week?
A really old revolver with the silver and grey can? It is 1/8" shaft that is press fit into the bell. I don't have anything that can repair it. You could probably use 1/8" drill rod as replacement.
170 is a bit hot for my tastes, I would keep it under 160f personally. However it can run as hot as 200f with no damage to the motor other than the fast wear that will occur at that power level.
I saw one pack like that, but the user had left it in overnight. Another pack had a dead cell show up. Can you test to see if all cells have drained or if it is just one bad cell?
