I just brought my original RTR TH out of the dust and when I powered i heard some major grinding, then just motor spin. Low gear works fine, but just spinning on high... If I pick up the vaterra metal trans gears, do you think that will have everything I need to fix? Tks.

Double check your shift servo end points are set properly. It sounds like maybe it is sticking in neutral instead of going to high gear.

You rock... That was it. Thank you!
Welcome!

Be aware the v1 twin hammers had issues with the servo end points. The settings on the remote were easily knocked out of spec, so check them frequently if your still using the older style controller.

Yes, that was the cause of my issue. I bought a DX5C and set the initial endpoints ultra conservative. I also made the mistake of thinking the endpoints would be an equal percentage. FYI - In my case, they were not. 28 and 35 percent before I heard any servo buzz. Tks again.
