That may be true. But you are on a "crawling" site ;-) and Axial does have a large portion of the growing crawling market.
It is not uncommon for a smaller company to merge with or become associated with much larger companys. It can give the smaller company access to greater resources and a larger marketing base. Lets hope that this acquisition will allow Axial to continue developing even better products "thumbsup"

Well at least this makes Axial a US company again.
Hobbico bought Axial, Durango and ARRMA from Kingstar, the Taiwanese company that owned all three and made the cars for them. I expect Kingstar will continue to make Axials kits, while Axial will continue the same as ever with the much better financial backing of Hobbico.

I heard rumor of this back at RCX from the hobbico reps... Thought they were just full of it, guess not. The infusion of money could be good for the axial line or, the infusion of hobbico thinking could be horrible for it. Only time will tell.
