Homemade bumpers

Its stainless steel so quite strong and wont rust. Although i may add some solder or something at thise little bends just for strength.

The difference on the rocks is quite significant. Here's a couple photo's of my truck in places that I used to get stuck but cruised right through with it installed.

I found a sticker from an old tlr road car kit i had and slapped it on. Looks better but a sticker won't last long there [emoji14]

That came out good!

To break up my big bumpers I've used fog lights with or without LEDS as well as incorporating fairleads that were actually used and some that weren't.

Axial has a nice light bucket kit that comes with a variety of options, I've use these a ton. https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/ax80045.htm
Out of stock unfortunately

Ok guys, after a couple hours I've come up with this!

I'm quite happy with it, but i think it needs some fog light holes drilled in it or something just to break it up a bit so it doesn't look like a big bar stuck on the front of my truck. Any thoughts on what i should do are appreciated!

I agree it needs something, maybe even something as simple as 4 bumper bolts plus maybe a license plate frame

So i just couldn't leave it with one plastic bumper and one steel one so i made a rear one aswell!

This one is aluminum. Cut a piece out of an old door sweep. Looks good coz it has some grooves in it already. Kinda worked out that the heavier one is on the front and light one on the rear. Only thing im thinking is maybe cutting a quarter inch off each side of the rear, i think its a tad too wide.

And I should probably countersink the screw holes aswell.

Made some bumpers for the Powerwagon. Front bumper giving a nod to the original, with dummy winch. Chassis mounted servo winch with Heyok controller. Rear and front all steel.
