Comp number two is in the books!
It was held in southern Finland last saturday.
Thirteen rigs were due to start!
I don't remember seeing this kind of fleet in ages! "thumbsup"
First course.
I got the advantage of driving in other rigs tire marks. It's like train rails. :ror:
Up!
The start of this course was easy.
Down again! This thing really moves when you pull the throttle!
Last two gates were really tough!
Got just a little bit grip from the cliff, but the nose was already heading to wrong direction...
Down again we go.
Course three next.
In this course the last gate was long vertical cliff. Couple of rigs in front of me did a huuuge 360 degrees in the air and landed on their tires on the top. I just wanted a clean performance to continue in the lead. "thumbsup"
I'm slowly beginning to learn this rigs basic behaviour.
Off we go to the last gate. FULL THROTTLE!
There it is! Touched the white marked, but got myself to the top! 8)
Course five. A big problem was the visibility for some reason on this course.
And these tires don't even throw the sand like Proline Maxx Paddles.
I almost made it to the top.

Here is my best performance of the day. From course three. Jump included! 8)
Besides all good perfomances, I had one bad which ruined my comp entirely. I rolled over at the first gates of the timed course. That means zero poitns from there. This is something that doesn't happen to me every day. Now it did and it was all because I was reling too much in the balance of the new rig. Well, shit happens and it left me with postition five.
After the comp I bashed with the car a bit and the motor got jammed. I'll have to see, what's the problem there, but I suspect it's the front bearing that has collapsed. There's good two weeks before the next comp, so I have plenty of time to order a spare. "thumbsup"
