I just recieved word that Horizon is not dealing w/ Axial anymore. My friend owns a Hobby Store and he had ordered a Wriath For me. Now we are finding out that all orders placed through Horizon will not get processed:x

if they choose to isolate an entire aspect of the hobby that is their choice, and their loss, as i am sure that they are not just losing the crawling purchases that we would make but also any other we may make.

Stormer Hobbies FTW over Horizon, I've never bought anything form Horizon. Stormer Hobbies is an RCC supporter as well. "thumbsup"

He did not order from Horizon, he order through his Friends Hobby Shop who had ordered their Wraiths from Horizon(distribution).

I saw that e-mail today too. Looks like they are 100% getting out of crawling. Butthurt they couldn't compete:mrgreen:

Yep, I order from my buddy cause he takes care of me. I didn't realize who his dealer was. I'm a mechanic and I have been working on his cars for years. He brings me business so I do the same"thumbsup"

Yeah, my fingers typed faster than my brain processed. Plus I didn't know the full details. I still wouldn't order from Horizon though.

Bummer about your Wraith preorder.

The correct wording of the statement is actually, "Axial is not dealing with Horizon anymore."

Yep, your right. I'm not stressing cause he's a Great Planes dealer to ( Tower Hobbies ) so he's got me covered:)

There is another thread in here about horizon selling berg axles/kits. Which might be a reason for the split. Unless I read it wrong.

Tell your local shops to get hooked up with SK Motion if they need a solid line to Axial kits and parts. Robert has always done me well, even though I only order a few kits here and there for myself.

you think losi is gonna quit making boss claw tires too??? they seem to be out of stock every where????

Uh, say what? Tower Hobbies is owned by Great Planes.....always has been. Tower Hobbies has been the biggest slap in the face to Hobby Shops nationwide for over 2 decades. It was quite often Tower would be selling item A for $29.99.........but as a Hobbyshop, to buy it from Great Planes to sell in your store it was $32.99........good stuff. Sure keeps the hobby shops in business.

I am not sure whats going on with Horizon, but they unlike Great Planes have always been pretty good to the hobbyshops, even when they added their webstore, they didn't undercut dealers.

Later EddieO

FYI Tower isn't Greatplanes storefront like Horizon is. They carry a great many thing that GP does not. They are just like stormer except that they don't carry Horizon Products

Local hobby store stocked some the other day, picked up a set and they have two sets of holes on the axle tubes for clocking, is this new? My last set of bergs i bought over a year ago.
