How do y'all get stripped screws?

Depends on the screw. Dremel, drill, superglue the alen in there if it isn't super tight just stripped. Many different ways.

Make sure if it is an alen that the driver isnt very round too. That's most likely the cause of the stripped screw in the case of alen screws.

Like tiny set screws? Start with a quality Allen wrench and make sure it is completely clean where the wrench goes. Applying heatwith a good soldering iron is also helpful.

buy a quality hex driver and you wont have a problem..

cheap drivers arent machined to tight tolerances..

i used rootar's EDS driver set one day..
holy crap, thats a tight fit no chance of rounding out a set screw with those drivers!

an Ez-out screw removal set..
a small flat head screw driver hammerd in can also work..
soak it in wd40 to help with removal..
or drill it out..

If the screw has thread locking compound on it and youve stripped the head, you'll usually need heat to remove it. A lighter, torch, or soldering iron with a large tip should work.

Can also cut a slot for a flat blade screwdriver and, if it's real bad, Lowe's has screw extractors that work om 3mm stuff.

Even high quality tools can be loose in the sockets of a cheap screw. If I find myself with sloppy fitting grub screws for instance (3mm thread, uses 1.5mm hex) I will grab the 1/16" from my standard set and it fits tight or needs some force to be pushed in. Helps me crank them in tighter and get em out without the fear of stripping.

Similar to this I tap lightly on the hex-driver handle to force the larger hex into a smaller slot for a super tight fit (TWSS) and then one I get it out I throw it away and get a new one.
