Hulksta Riddler

Doesn't look like you are using the internal shocks in that pic Dan....and a different nose? Is that old?

I prefer the screw down approach "thumbsup"

RC4WD internal spring kit for 1 of the ''in board'' shocks... I used the stiffer one...

Now for those who run this chassis, what oil wt did u used for the 2nd ''in board'' shock??? I was thinking about 50-60wt...

Im not running this chassis, but my thought would be to run thicker than that. That way the feature only articulates when it absolutly has to. This should allow for some rear push if needed without shortening your wheel base too much. Just my thought tho.

My guess somewhere between 80wt and 100wt

^^^ Yep

So you want the main shocks doing their job and reaching max before the feature starts to work, and even then you want it smooth... I used 10,000wt diff oil in mine ;) but that was single setup, and i felt like stepping up to 15,000wt

Re: Hulksta Riddler Bully 2

As for the shock i just picture, Is it the right way to mount it? I used the stiffier spring in the kit...

That's what I did, although I did not use any oil in those shocks...just the internal spring. I haven't had the luxury of a shake down run yet to see how this works....this may all change. Hopefully you don't need a stiffer spring than what's in that kit....don't know where you'd find one.
Did you put 10k wt oil in the main shock Dan?

One question..are the rc4wd pins narrower than the Voodoo's?

Yes they are, same for the OD.

No oil in the 2 inboard shocks, your front is not too bouncy?
10K in at least 1 of them will make a smoother motion...

I have 100 wt in the front shocks at the moment....no oil in the inboards.
Haven't had any time for crawling lately...will try to get a shake down this weekend and figure out what I need from there...

Went with 120k diff oil in my second inboard shock... very smooth motion in combinaison with the first shock with only an internal spring in it...

Single and dual inboard shocks are different... not the same lenght at all... Mine is the dual inboard and i run 2x scx10 90mm shocks...
For the single, i think it was something around 70-75mm... But ask Dan @ Hulksta... He can provide the right information or u can buy the new dual inboard shocks ''hood'' at a cheap price...

Re: Hulksta Riddler Bully 2

I sent Dan a pm a day or so ago haven't heard back yet. I would be interested in a cheap upgrade to duels . or at least a link I really wanna drive this thing lol
