Hello, i post a picture from my new car in the Picture Archive, someone want to see more of the car.

First my english is not so good ;)

The RC Toy is from Maisto - Hummer HX Concept 1:10

I seen the Build from King Cobra last Year here in this Forum, it is very good. So i want to build my own Hummer HX Concept.

Here some pictures from the original toy:

In the Video of my first testrun i seen in the video the wire from motor, servo, ... Not so good.

Unbenannt-1.jpg

A user from german forum make the aluminium parts black. i painted all other parts black (servo, linkplate,...) all wires i made black with shrink tube. And i made some black plastic sheets at the side of the chassis:

WOW!! This is a great looking rig. I saw this body for sale, but sadly let it get away. Keep us updated on anything else you do to it.

it is a nice body work,
I got a same body, but I think the WB is too short
that's why I give up, but u did a great job man

Thanks for all comments.

great looking rig! what's the wheelbase?

Wheelbase is 270mm / 10.6"

The Wheelbase from Tamiya XC/CC01 is good, but the front of the Hummer HX is very short and the chassis must be shortend. And the XC/CC01 is not first choice for me. Chassis is good, but too many parts must be change to make it better.

I used the TCS Scale Chassis for the Axial AX10, it is a little long. It is for Wheelbase over 280mm / 11".

Other Parts i used:
Novak Crawler Brushless System
Thunder Tiger / Team Associated Digital Servo DS1313
Flat Iron Proline
Traxxas Shafts
Tamiya TLT Axle
RC4WD Transmission R2 V2
Hot Racing Shocks
Tamiya Rally Interior (Part Number 301825096 & 9225045)
Roof Rack Proline
Roof Lights 3 Racing

Scale run (yesterday):

Some new Details.

Front Bumper from RC4Wd
3Racing Winch (i will change the hook and the roop)
Wheels change from Topcad to Axial
License Plate (from Sweden)

And i damaged the Front down Part, attempt to glue a holder on it... The self-made is not so nice, but better than nothing ;)
