I've been trying to get my workstation to recognize my iPod. I'm running windows 7 pro, 64 bit and I have a 120GB iPod classic. I've literally hours searching the webz with no real solutions. When I look under component services ( in the workstation), I can clearly see that the Apple mobile device driver is present and running but when I go to the device manager it doesn't show up anywhere. I've dumped iTunes and bonjour at least 6 times and reloaded everything, which is supposed to load the driver files into the device manager so that when I plug in the iPod via the USB cable, it should recognize the device.

Has anyone had this issue and figured out a way to make it work? I'm just basically trying to download my iTunes library into my workstation since my old laptop is dead.

Thanks for any help! "thumbsup"
