Insane 370 motor swap..anybody?

Well I finally did it! I got my losi lockers all around and decided to put the insane 370 in. I'm running it with a 12 tooth pinon with the stock esc, and proline FI's. I have noticed my ESC getting a little warm now where it did not used too. I've got about 20 mins of run time in it and it's still going. Full throttle heats it up faster then just normal crawling. The motor seems really smooth on the low end and my drag brake is incredible now. I had to put by tranny back to stock I did'nt know if I could run this motor with flipped tranny yet ( timeing on motor ) The wheel speed is well INSANE!"thumbsup" I run it more this weekend with the stock battery and the lipo and post up later!"thumbsup"

is it possible to use mamba max or Futaba330CR for mlst2's motor into mrc?
my current spec is stock esc, VX servo and stock motor but end up pretty bad, no wheel speed and low torque :-( . Already plan to swap the motor with stock mlst2, is it will burn the sotck esc? or just swap the stock esc with 1/10 esc?

I dont think the stock motor in a MLST2 will burn up a stock esc in the MRC. I ran the Insane 370 motor on the stock esc for a couple months before I upgraded to a sidewinder micro pro. My stock esc still works and I use it for a spare and the insane motor is still doing great. as far as the servo goes I dont know the specs on that servo but again I ran a hitech 645 for a long time on the stock esc and had no problems, but some people did. I build on a budget and make things work that I have laying around so throw your stuff in there and see how you like it check temp's on your electronics if not too hot you should be good if it gets hot quick chances are it's not gonna work. heat=:) HOT=:oops:

you guys wanna try an awsome brushed motor check out the Trinity Cobalt 16t handwound. It is one bad beast. It needs to be geared low though. 10t pinion works well."thumbsup"

i was giving a stock motor which i think is toast and a insane 370 and was told it would fry my esc so should i try it to get my crawler going or wait to get a aftermarket esc and just get a good stock motor for now oh i have a spare esc just wondering what you guys think would be wise

I ran the insane and stock esc for six months good combo as for gearing I run a 10t pinion.

Ya I have noticed the Esc gets slightly warm after a bit but definantly need a lower pinion things way to fast on stock pinion after Christmas I'll pick up a set and put the 9 tooth in
