International CXT Tow Rig

Well I had a plan to order some 10" ones from China but they no longer make them that long. Back to the drawling board. Any suggestions?

Cut and reweld MIPS. I made some 6" and 7" one pretty easy.

So it is 9"at the doors, 12" at the wheel wells, 17" long, and 10" tall. And that is just the cab. If you want an overall length I am at 32 3/4" bumper to bumper right now as it sits here.

So here are some updates on the rig. Chassis is complete and I have mounted up the bumpers. They will be solid mounded as they are welded on. I was having a hard time coming up with a removable mounts so here is where we are at.
Here is the chassis....

Front bumper. ....

Rear bumper. ......

And the light bar. ....

I wish some one near me had one of those bodies, seems none in my area. I have the new bright 1/6 f350 and had thought about using the cxt bed to make it a f350 daully but I dont know if the whole beds would interchange of if I would have to dremel the flares off and then bondo them into the f350 bed. I really like the look of that trailer hooked up, now you need a 1/6 scale crawler on the trailer.

The whole idea around this is that my 3 1/2 year old seems to always decide he wants to drive the truck out to the furthest spot then just want to walk back to the cars. With this I will tow my scx10 until we hit a good spot then load it and continue to the next one. Then once he is done. Load them both and haul them all back to the start. We will see how this goes though.

So it's not a big update but I think the lights turned out pretty good. More to come as I'm slowly putting this truck together. ....

Here are a few more to finish off the cabs lights. I need to finish cleaning up some wiring but I'm happy with the way it turned out. Next will be the bed......
