So I want to Run Internet into the shop, Its 75ft from the house and the house has Cable internet, can I run a sererate Modem With the same IP in the shop?

I have a wireless router, but I'm pretty sure It wont Reach the shop, as the modem in the house is on the other side.

I don't think the extra modem thing will work... or it will but only one person can get on the 'net at a time.

A more expensive option is to get yourself a wireless access point and a high-gain directional antenna and you should be able to tap into the wireless router signal; and everyone can still get on the internet.

The extra modem won't work. Your best bet is to get a better wireless router. Something in the Super G, MIMO, or pre N range.

Wireless should easily do 75 feet.

I should know, I'm way more than 75 feet away from the wireless router I'm boring the internet from.

That setup should work fine, you might have to get a indoor/outdoor directional antenna to connect to your router to boost the signal, like this one from Netgear. I also stick to the higher end business stuff, even for home. I paid a little more but haven't had to touch my setup in over 7 years.

i installed a set of those, or dlink? in an office for some guys i do work for, the plug into outlets right? if its the same thing i think it uses the electric lines for the signal, anyway it worked great there. but yeah, your wireless should reach 75', especially just from house to shop, shouldnt be really any interferance inbetween. nope, only 1 ip can be used at a time by any given computer. might be able too though if you have a 2nd cable modem to try it with.
