iPhone 5

Downloading iOS6 on my i4s right now....come on go faster~!

200 new features! That's a lot.

Wonder if this one will help the crashes I get with Safari on my iPod Touch or not. Looks like there's about nothing done with the Touch, but I noticed they mention a 5th gen Touch.

I did the new update on my iPhone 4S and my new iPad and it took YouTube off, but other than that its cool having Siri on my iPad, and other stuff is cool too

get the google chrome app.

Meh. Simple restore gets me a decent month before Safari starts crashing again. Rather stick with Apple OS and no apps. Simpler is better.

I see iPod Touch 5 gen has a better camera, 5 MP (seven times more than 4th gen which is the biggest disappointment about it), and is slightly taller in height to fit a 4 inch screen compared to the 3.5 inch. Also, it's slimmer. Nice. But they don't have anything smaller than the 32 giggities, and that's $300. Not too sure about that one.

bahhhh i dont want the 5...
my wife has the iphone 4s, ipod 4, ipad new gen (3?)

ill keep my samsung galaxy sii (wouldnt mind the siii though...)...

u guys keep staying with that over priced proprietary gear over there....

note: all comments and thoughts from me are humorous and not to be taken seriously

:flipoff:

My overpriced propriety gear has a track record like this:

iPod Classic - never restarted or reloaded, 4 years old
iPad 1 - never rebooted or reloaded except for OS upgrades, 1.5 years
iPad 2 - never rebooted or reloaded except for OS upgrades, 1 year
iMac Mini - never rebooted or reloaded except for OS upgrades, 2 years
iMac 21 - never rebooted or reloaded except for OS upgrades, 2 years
iMac 27 - never rebooted or reloaded except for OS upgrades, 2 years
Mac Book Pro 17 - never rebooted or reloaded except for OS upgrades, 1.5 years
Mac Book Pro 15 - never rebooted or reloaded except for OS upgrades except when booted to Windows 7, 6 months

Only reboots on the Macs were when they were shut down due to bad weather, loss of power or to transport. Total of one DVD-RAM and one Video card replaced. Android noe Windows can compare to that. Want to spend your time making stuff work? Buy cheap shit.

There is a youtube app you can DL in the app store, better than the Apple one before it. Free too of course.

Sounds like you need to reboot more.

Your Apple can't compared to Droid because they're slow as shit lol.

Slow...all phones are slow, so are tablets. Come at me when your phone can touch my home PC/Mac/Linux box in processing power. You realize that GHZ does not in any way reflect actual processor power and abilities.

You might remember even AMD and Intel were cruising the GHZ game until they found better ways...and slower processors were actually more efficient and faster.

You literally NEVER shut these items down?

I downloaded the iOS6 for the 4s
So why do I need the 5 again?

Took forever to load it but its smoother and added a few new functions.
Im enjoying it fine.

I had the Motoroala Droid X before this and I teally enjoyed Andoid. Even for two months after I got the iPhone it was hard to adjust. I was just about to switch back to Android, but then I got to really using the iPhone and now I will never go back!
I have an android samsung tablet and it just sucks now because Samsung hasnt updated the sodtwear.
Works for games, pocs and PDF's. but internet is crap.

True. I miss owning a computer. :x

You don't at all, the 4S with the iOS6 is plenty comparable to the 5. Maybe not as awesome, but cheaper to stick with the 4S than move.

I'm saving the upgrade cost (I'm in this 4S for another year) until that plan ends and I can switch without extra overhead.

Is the iPhone 5 4G?
I ask this because strangely enough, Verizon was doing Tower work in Billings and in Williston, ND and quite a few times the 3G marker on my 4s as well as my wife's and Co workers switched to reading 4G.

Which I was told these phones are not 4G capable by Verizon, yet some Verizon store employees said they are.

I know the 4s does the same, but sure it actually is. The 5 is for sure LTE.

iPhones work great til after 1 year., then they fall apart.

Bullshit, I've had my 1st gen iPhone for 5 years and the only thing wrong with it is the load speaker that stopped working 18 months ago. :flipoff:

That said I have just bought a 5 because after 5 years I decided I'd have an upgrade.

I just traded in my iPhone 4S that I got 9/4/12 for a new iPhone 5 because AT&T said I could do it since I haven't had my phone past a month...this phone is pretty sweet seems fast and the screen is cool, I got the black it's nice with the matte finish, usually I get white but the black just called me in

I loved my iPhone 3G till I updated it to an operating system that was too much for the 8 gig phone. The typing was lagging but I still love it

OK, so new development to the iOS6.

Got a text from my buddy Dan (Difuser) today and I notice that the VZW Contact transfers is not working well with the iOS6 Program.

I have numbers listed without contact names and double contacts, and Dan (Difuser) is being mistaken for a work contact. So had to make some edits and deletes to the contacts list.

It shows more evident with you previous texts.
