"IT'S SHOWTIME" by warriorsimi

This thing is so cool. I figure anyone can buy scale accessories and aftermarket stuff but to build something like this yourself from scratch is just awesome. Great work man, really well done!

Wow, just stumbled upon this build! Absolutely amazing work! Too many great aspects to mention, but you nailed it! Very clean, and as you mentioned....as close to scale as you can get. Can't wait to see a vid and many more pics. GREAT JOB!"thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

thanks ,i competed with it this last sunday and for being my first comp ever and first actual run with showtime i got fourth place ,this rig is by far my favorite it flatout works .i ran it hard and had no issues at all ran it like tim cameron would of ,i even got some back flips with it .hopefully the folks that took the pics and the short video will send them to me. thanks for all the comments and no it's not a shelf queen.

Yeah I have to say it looked great this weekend. I still can't get over how light it felt.

Looks good man, how do you like those shocks? I've been thinking about getting some but I'm worried about the weight I'll be putting on them.

they seem to work good but i would not recommend them i had to use them for the scale look but i would go with proline longer the better.they stick alot .

What IS up with that? You have to push down on the car to "prime' them before you take off. But look sweet on a tuber.
I'm guessing you didn't drive the rat rod to where it was sitting.

they will work on this build but will need to find something that will perform better.no i didn't drive the ratt i had to take the motor out to put it in showtime.just took it for show ,it got alot of spectators that day.

i agree i wasnt to fond of the pre-run shock cycling either..

change out the orings and get rid of the oil...;-)
clean the inside of the shock bodies and add just a
lil silicone shock oil for lube..

ive been messing with these rc4wd shocks since they came out..
this is the best way ive found of getn better performance
out of them.

and traxxas 1/16th springs fit them as well as losi (mini-t ,mrc)springs

"thumbsup"

looks awesome!

Looking great and to see it comping so fast instead of just getting painted months later.

PM me if your interested... I don't have my vender star yet so not official yet. You have an awesome build there sir "thumbsup"I dig the rat rod too...

Such a great build. Just getting ready to do a tube buggy for myself. I have these tires in a 1.55 on my little Misfit rig. I think the way they are cut would look great on yours. Opening up the tread also help out with these tires performance

Great build, the way you cut your claws looks nice. Try running them backwards and see how you like them. The claws seem to work best when you cut them up and run backwards. Now i am going to have to get another set and try your cut job on them.

I have seen both of those in person and the pictures do not do either of them justice. I was also surprised at how light Showtime felt. That rat rob is boss.
