Got some more work done over the weekend :

My first bash at brazing - first attempt was too graphic to post..
Can anyone recommend a colour theme. Thinking earth light brown Matt, matt dark green overdone. Any ideas welcome

Thrown it all together so far. Suspension needs sorting out as it's sitting strangely. Still a load of stuff to do just struggling to find time.
Tyres are voodoo KLR’s which I’m seriously happy with. Hope they perform well.
Got my roof done [emoji4]
Found the radiator on eBay listed as Axial EXO radiator and thought it was a great fit. Cut the shroud more so you could see the fan blades a bit better

It's just about finished now but with today's outing it proved to be very top heavy even with the xtraspeed axles and 90g lead in each wheel :/
Any ideas on adding more weight? Should I add more lead to the wheels?

Nice rig! Great body work too. I like to the tan color, my D110 is about the same color.

SSD knuckles, SSD rear lockouts and SSD brass weights

I was reading one of the other threads on these but I didn't see how much extra weight they add??

On the first outing at the weekend it proved a bit top heavy so I've lowered the suspension about 10mm but I've ordered some brass patties to help further. Added the winch to the front and the rear lights too [emoji4]

Was that a change of shocks? What length are you running? I'm currently torn between gmade rsd's at 90mm or traxxas big bore 2660 at 84mm.

I'm running the stock icons up front but 93mm gmade piggybacks on the rear. The gmades are a little stiff but it really helps with torque twist - they compress easy enough and I've taken the bump stops off. I have boom racing adjustable shock mounts front and back that allows me to adjust height and angle a fair bit.
I've got a set of the rsd's and they are too similar to the icons performance wise imo.

Driving home today and it hits me....... I need fog lights!
Also added the ssd weights, I fitted them to the back of the wheels as I don’t have faith in the ssd knuckles given the problems people are reporting with them
