HOG/Reposition 10 – Moves the truck back to the last gate. Anyplace in the plane of the gate.

Rescue Gear 1 per max 5 -5 – Must be fully functional and usable.

Functional Spare Wheel -1 – Must be able to be bolted onto the truck and driven down trail. Working Spare.

Driver/Passenger - 1 Each -1 – Each passenger must be in their own seat.

Interior Lights -1 – Lights are all just for having them, not points for each LED.

Roof lights -1

Head lights -1

Tail lights -1

Rock lights -1

Max Possible Scale points - 68!

The Basics:
Drivers will drive their truck through the course, gates must be cleared in the intended direction by the entire truck and all 4 tires.
There is no maximum points, but after 200 – there is no need to keep counting. You tie for last enjoy the course!
Time Limit – 10-15 minutes for normal comp style courses with 10 gates.
Impossible Advance – For when an obstacle is just too much for a rig, your winch breaks, or you've wounded your truck. Once you get good and
stuck with no chance of self recovery, or clearing the climb, you can “advance” to next gate in-line for a penalty. So in theory, you could drive
around, and advance through all the hard stuff and get last, but have fun!
HOG, or Reposition – If a truck becomes stuck, and cannot self right, but the driver simply wants to get back on their wheels, they can do a
“Reposition”, BACK to the previously cleared gate for a penalty. This is the ONLY option, no Roll Overs.
True Scale recovery/winching. No winching to your shoe, no pulling a steak from your back pocket, you can use “what is on your truck”. No
imaginary trees, no holding your winch hook or anchor in place. Hands OFF during winching or vehicle assisted recovery. As needed,
winching/anchor spots on course will be provided.
Judging: Done by the honor system, and supervised by the course marshal. Buddy system will be used so there is no judge stuck on course all
day. You will judge a fellow driver, and they will judge you. You are encouraged to switch trail buddies through out the event.
Course Marshal: Each event will have an unknown course marshal(s) that will help make sure there are no cheaters.
The Course Marshal will be sneaking through the bushes, climbing into trees, and using satellite tracking to make sure that cheaters are caught.
In the end, we are ALL Course Marshal's and are expected to have a great time, while ensuring everyone is playing by the rules. Cheaters are
not welcome, if you have a question about a rule, or what is allowed, ask the group at the drivers meeting, or ask a fellow competitor on course.
We are all here for the same reason, to have fun, and run trucks.
Tie: In the event of a tie, maximum scale points will be used, if scale points are also tied, the final tie breaker is a tug of war.
Rock Race Course- This is the TIME ONLY course. No reverse count, just, Gates, Repo, and Advances. Best Time Wins. Penalties are counted
as “Time” in seconds not points. Example: a Gate is +10 seconds.

Looks good"thumbsup"

One question though, will the scale points be deducted from total score or will they only be used in case of a tie breaker?

Thanks for the fun guys! Nathan had a great time running his first scaler comp (we've got work to do!). Got too hot and had to bail a little early, but we both appreciated the hard work and effort to layout the cool courses! "thumbsup"

i had a lot of fun on sunday, thanks PondSlayer and Mr.V. for all of your hard work....and NBRCC and Jakes Performance Hobbies.....it was a good learning curve for our little series.

the course's were off the hook.with some really good lines and winch spots....i should have took two advances on course one for 60 points instead of not finishing and getting a 200 for running out of time, but now i know.
and as usual J-Fab killed it......

so lets get this Cloverdale spot set up for the July comp.

i got some good photos and a small video is in the works, but it will be a few days...

Thanks for the good words guys! And thank you to everyone that came out and crawled with us!

Charlie, Richdog, Mr V, sloyota, and everyone else that judged and helped out getting our first comp going, THANK YOU! You guys rock!"thumbsup"

Thanks to Jakes Performance Hobbies and NBRCC for all the help and equipment!

It was a mellow turn out for our first comp with 9 entries. It ended up being a hot day, But I still had a bunch of fun. Judging, crawling, and learning where we can improve our format, and breaking my truck. Can't wait for the next one!

I'm gonna talk with the guys and confirm the next location. I will have a flyer posted soon.

Nice going guys, and a smaller turn-out isnt always a bad thing. I kind of like the old style scale meets, not really into the "mob scaling" format but thats just me. I will be watching for your next event as Santa Rosa is the closest place that holds events for me. "thumbsup"
