Jordi's Stingray Dlux CF build

This got done last night, with help from my electronics guru friend 8)
It's so neat it could have come straight from Castle.

After a heady two days comp crawling I managed to pull off 2nd place at the UK Nats.

I'm reasonably happy everything considered, like I haven't crawled for a year, new truck and only getting it done less than a week before the comp, so no time to tune..

It came down to the wire though......
I sucked on day 1, dropped 76 points which put me in 3rd place. (8 courses)
Day 2 was a different story, 4 courses I dropped a total of 28 point, the best score of the day. My total of 104 was 13 behind Ruffryder in first place, Skippee was in third with 163.

Now I've had chance to see what the truck can do, I have a few alterations to make....watch this space:twisted:

Way to go Martin!! I've been struggling with house projects for the last month, and have been a bit out of things so sorry for being late to the party!

I've been doing some work on this recently, not had much chance at all to run it since the Nats.

Firstly I clocked the front axle by a few degrees, inboarded the front uppers to make it a bit more supple and after a lot of deliberation (and arguing with the vice!) I've come up with a new design for my rear lowers.
My issue was the ones I was running were not allowing the tyres to hook the rock soon enough, not the case now 8)

Also my new scx ally shocks showed up today, my big bores have started leaking and I fancy a change..

Very nice design on those rears. Are you ever worried about bending them during a hard run?
