Kamikaze's '08 Comp rig

Nice Job Kam
You ought to be itching for it to be a tuber !? though right

Looks great, Driving is Cool & inside looks like a bowl of Fruit loops

what's the trick to removing the stinky green on the Aluminum ?

Screw that, I used a bead blaster.

I would have but my Bead blaster is awaiting parts, like all of them and for me to afford to buy one.

Autosol is a polishing compound (paste) found at auto parts stores. Supa shiney aloominim"thumbsup"

Got 4th in its first comp. Not to bad, I'm gonna tune it a little more, maybe swap bodys, I busted it yesterday.... Might convert it to a tuber.

Here's some pics, I had to swap rims cause I busted the other ones.

I need an opinion, should I stick with this rig or should I whip out a tuber for it? It just doesn't seem right, and all these lost body pins are getting on my nerves.

What motor and tranny are you running? Do you think it would work for a rock racer?

Do you feel the Axial sticker helps or hinders your performance?

I am running a Check point 2 turn single 540 motor with a losi mini-t tranny, it seems to work well, perhaps a bit slow for a rock racer. I have only hung up once on the axial sticker but most of the time it just slides right over. I havn't desided if I should keep it or swap it out for some tamyia stickers. I here there plastic is a much better compound."thumbsup"

Just use your imagination and lose the lame side body mount posts and you won't have that problem.

same here, those side body mounts are loosing all my clips... but after some experimentation, if you mount them from the inside out (the front one you slide in from the back and the back one you slide in from the front) it minimises the rate of lossness.... :)
