Ken Block @ Top Gear

I'm a 6 time E Prep Autocross champ. 8)

What years champion are you? You might have heard of some of my friends. Mike Maier, Frank Stagnero, Chris Cox, Andy McKee, Jesus Villareal just to name a few. they are all multi time national champs themselves. I race with all of them in the American Auto-x series here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I actually helped Mike out with a USAC sprint car last year.

That being said, I know that those clips are edited just like a real movie is, doesnt make it any less spectacular to me. I would still in a heartbeat jump in a car with him just to "take a ride". He is a fenominal driver and I would put him up against some of the worlds best and he could probably hold his own.

For that matter, I would rather see him at the Race of Champions rather than JImmy Johnson, Jeff Gordon or Carl Edwards like years past. I like NASCAR, Hell i've been to the Daytona 500, All star race, Sears Point 10+ times, I just dont think they have what it takes to compete on that level.

I think it might have worked if Jay Leno had gotten on board. Throw in Adam Carrolla and Tanner Foust and we might have had a good lineup.

I'll second the Jay Leno vote, though I never considered Adam Carrolla...could be good! I'd like to see Jesse James in the mix as well.

Carrolla is a car guy, and would be a good snarky companion for Leno. Jesse James wouldn't fit IMO...his whole image is that of a "loner".

Ken Block would make a good US "Stig"...I don't know how interesting he would be driving normal cars "normally" though.

You might have heard of some of my friends... Andy McKee

That one sounds familiar. If it is who I think, did he buy Jason Tipple's STS Civic the second year STS was a Nats class? Jason Tipple is an old acquaintance an of mine.

I was racing about early 1998 to late 2005, seven years straight. Then found RCCralwer looking for Eibach ERS springs and for some reason I never cared about Autocross again. :D

as a former SCCA driver and an officiater/coordinator here in Prescott, I can say thay kind of driving takes skills, even in many clips, it still takes work to get that good.
