Klampyz HSP MOA 1/8

thanks very much :)

its getting close to completion, ive just been a bit distracted with other aspects of my life at the moment. hopefully get back and finish it soon. i want to drive it !!

not at this moment, its on the shelf... i think when the time comes ill put AR60 axles under it instead. more realistic i think. it deserves it.

ok, things might actually be looking up for this big ford.

the wraith i was working with decided to licorice twist its driveshafts. so ive been looking for a chassis to create for it. i figured (and the wife agrees) (thats a bonus) that ill adjust the chassis to suit the AR60's and go from there. since ill be orderering new shafts, i dont mind cutting and joining a couple..

so, ill be linking this page back to my wraith thread since ill be keeping the HSP axles for a future super class crawler.

keep watching this space!

heres how it sat as of last night. im not going to use the wraith rims, but i will be using the Lox.

heres the thread on the wraith, i didnt realise i never started one here...

Klampyz Wraith (or rather whats left of it.. ) - Scale 4x4 R/C Forums

since i dont have a wraith thread here, ill start one because i cant change the title to properly reflect the rig... lol when i do, ill link it.

i found a complete parts list for this model truck, and according to the HSP hopup list, theres no metal gears optioned for it. which is pretty sad really...

not even metal axle housings or gearbox housings... just some cheap "carbon look" options. and i couldnt even find them on ebay (where all the parts are...)

now that i have a parts list, theres a couple bits that id like to upgrade to aloy, like the link mouts on the axle, upper and lower, the servo mounts, and potentially a set of alloy beadlock rings. (the 2.2s i think are way too small)

for now ill leave it as is, as im still waiting for the bits i need to get it back to a driveable state...

This might help you if you haven't found metal or aluminum gear's yet Metal Gear Set w/ Direct Spool for Super Clod Buster (use MOD1 Pinion)
