Well today i got my bottle of krawler tape and my inital impression was the smell of cherrys was VERY strong. Upon looking at it it seems like a very well thought out product. So the next thing i did was found my oldest most wore out set of losi claws i had and misted it on from about 4 to 5 inches away. I let it set for about 5 mins then i ran my hand over the tires that i had sprayed with the krawler tape and thought to myself wow they feel like a new set of tires and the smell of cherrys is a nice small touch not to strong but the smell was present just enough that you knew there was something there. I have hardwood floors in my room, even a brand new set of losi claws didnt seem to hookup very well on the wood floor but im very pleased to say the old tires i sprayed with krawler tape hooked up well enough i was able to drive right up the wall without spinning the tires at all . I cant say the same for the new losi's i have. So far my impression after the little bit of testing i have done is the krawler tape is a great product and preformes as they said it would. Later today i will be taking pictures and testing on the rocks. Just wanted to get my opinion out there so everyone had something to look at and go off of. I would like to thank jp custom rc's and kreepy crawler designs for another awsome product.

Do you have any All-T's or other tire that you can try this on? I'm curious to see what it does for tires that haven't traditionally been very good. Thanks for the write up.

good point all i use/have are claws and m2k i will try to pick up some other tires to help widen my write up.. r2j will soon have them up on the site i think. i got mine as a tester to do the write up he would be the man to talk to about buying some

I'd be curious to see if they make the tire too sticky. Too sticky and they would grab hold of loose debris on the course and make the tire more slippery than before. Maybe that isn't an issue in all parts of the world, but fall time in the appalachians it would be a problem I'm sure.

it makes the tires stick but not tacky they dont really seem to pick up as much as a new tire. they feel like they have more grip for a lack of better words

Well I'm Glad your liking it. I've sent a few more out for guys to test out. I've already done my part of the testing. As soon as I finish up getting the Labels printed. I'll post new pictures up and start Selling.

So does this stuff make the tires stickier than a good scrubbing with Simple Green?
Sounds like the same concept with a much better scent-man Simple Green stinks. I would love to try some on not only my craler tires but my race tires too. I'll wait til next summer and maybe pick some up for testing.

That's weird - I think Simple Green smells good. Kinda like root beer. It makes a set of old tires tacky again, but only for like a week or so. Maybe this formula lasts a little longer?

Maybe its just a red color cheery smelling Simple Green?

I have never scrubbed my tires with simple green..but from what I have read the krawler tape works better I need to get some simple green to clean my tires with and see what it does..I just got my super back up and running after i get done eating Ill get off my a$$ and get some pics for you guys

i would like to see how it compares to traction additives on the market already like buggy grip, death grip etc.

I would too, but I doubt anybody will go through the work or expense to to a true test, which would require two identical sets of tires and wheels, and some way to measure grip. I was thinking a skate park might be the ideal location, the ramps gradually get steeper as you go higher, and the surface is realitively smooth, so the grip is coming from the tires, not the surface. Just start at the bottom, and record which tires go the highest on the same truck before breaking traction. It would be about as close to scientific as you can get.
