Hello everyone,

I'm completely new to the bully scene. I have always liked moa crawlers, just never had the greenbacks to get one.

I recently got ahold of a Beetjuice V3 chassis with bully axles and other goodies.

List of parts i will be using:

BJV3 chassis with uppers- 4.21oz
skid- .54oz
lower links- .38/each
Traxxas shocks
Front rear- Bully 2- 22.41oz
rear bully 2- 19.57oz

electronics:
Hpi En-1 esc with cc bec- 1.88oz
Traxxas rx- .98oz Tx- TQ3 modded
35 turn Integy motors with rc4wd pinions 12t- 6.2oz
Futaba servo-1.9oz
Punk Dig- 2.2oz

Tires and wheels:
Dna Thrashers w/ pitbull rock beast xor tires: Front 9.62oz Rear-9.47oz

Now i know i need to upgrade my esc and my rx and tx, but money is real tight right now.

Have a surgery coming up in the next coming weeks, so i have to work with what i have till i come across something cheap.

Thanks for looking will have pics up soon.

Where is everyone running their batteries? Am i gonna have to fabricate something somewhere to run a battery?

The battery placement is the only thing i am worried about, right now i have no lipos. :(

The best Place for it is Velcro'ed to the upper links. Just go to home depot and get Velcro strapes, i think they are like $4 for 5. Just get 1300 or smaller lipos.

Stubs: thanks for the photo, i see exactly where u are running it... So that alleviates one problem.

Now to start putting it together today, will have photos as i go along. I have to builds going now.

This one and another in the wk forum. lol such an addict.

Ya, that is a super old pic. I run a 450 sideways now. If you are not competing I would go with 1000mAh or 1300mAh. I would see no reason to run smaller.

Yeah i will be competing, with the guys over at epa.. I just want to get it together the right way first, then mess around with it and setups.. The electronics is the hard part. Fitting all that and then some in that small compartment. It's mind boggling.

So i was out and about today and the g/f had to go to the craft store. So she was looking around i was i the wood crafting aisle and she met me in that aisle and came across some skinz. They had yellow burn, psychadelic, web with spiders and alligator. They were 6.75 a piece, i asked her which one, we grabbed the green alligator ones.

I was very skeptic at first, but wow was i wrong. Followed the directions and this is what i got:

So i set in the panels and mocked up the chassis:

I also made new panels for the side of the chassis.
