i bought some to use on my styrene clod body and this stuff goes on thick looking even in light coats....but when it is dry it such a thin coat that it shows every scratch from sanding the body with 220 grit :shock: ....who has used this stuff and how fine did you go with sand paper....i have 400 and 800 wet/dry black oxide paper yet to try, thx all.........bob

i only went to 400 on my chevy. took a few coats to flow out though, still showed some scuff marks on it here and there until the third coat. i ahve seen some misery jobs with trying to build one thick coat, so stay away from that mess.

i think the key is don't let the paint dry fully before each coat, but don't go wet on wet. ( if that makes any sense. )

sand it out to some 400 then a couple coats usually smooths it out for me.

yeah i put it on in light coats every few minutes so it wasn't wet....first light coat just looked like a mist job, waited bout 3 minutes then dusted/misted it again till even....i like the the way it looks and the way it looks like it is going to finish out as "thumbsup" ........bob

I painted my Wraith with it because my LHS was closed. I think I did three coats, waiting a few minutes in between and rubbing it down between coats with a diaper. I painted the inside of the body black to help keep the factory graphics from showing through. It has held up pretty good brought a day of bashing with my five year old.
