I am building a ladder chassis for XC/CC. So far i made this:

Yes, it is polycarbonate. Im not sure, it can handle the stress, but it is easy to work with. This will be perfect for this experiment Lather, maybe i make it from metal.

That's really cool. I like it! but I've gots a questions..... I was wondering how the front of the frame is going to mount to whats left of the cc01 chassis? I can see that the shocks are mounted but not to the rest of the from piece.

Yes, it is! The front suspension and transmission is stock. Im trying only to make a better chassis for it (with a Pantablo style servo mount and rear spring leafs)

I will make some better pictures showing them. The rear one is the stock steering systems hole. Last night I checked it. It seems to be strong enough.

The idea originally is not mine. My friend built a Pajero pickup, with a similar chassis.

You know, I've been thinking of making a pajero pickup ever since I made my Jtop and this is probably the best iteration I've seen. if I ever make one I'll probably copy this.

Hi there!

I nearly have completed the chassis.
The next step is the body mounting. I have an idea, after work, i try it.
Also, the chassis needs some additional cross stiffener plates (center and rear side).

Hi there!

Yesterday the Pajero succesfully completed the 3rd Open Cathegory Trial Race, Hungary. Btw, it was rather for crawlers than scale rigs.
