Light Bars

Wondering if anyone has found a great option yet that does not require trimming etc...

The Gear Head Trek Torch 5" looks perfect; but, the description states that it cannot be run directly off of Lipo.

I have all my lights currently wired into a separate 1300 mAh battery with room to add my light bars. I really don't want to add another battery power source.

I otherwise really like that this item is ready to go without modding the rack or light itself regarding fitment. Why would they not make this item 12V?

The Darth Sprocket light bar is a direct fit, 1 washer on each side of the bar is all it takes to bolt on. I think I used the thin plastic shims off one of the shock part trees. It is wired directly to the 3s battery through a Turnigy receiver controlled switch.

Add some picture when you get it,just to see how its bolted to the roof rack.As far as i could see, nobody makes a direct fitment to the roofrack

I ordered the low pro mount so I'll see how I mount it. I was thinking on the body anyways but I might make something work when it arrives

The light bar arrived toay and I installed it in less than 10 minutes from start to finished, ready to go! It fits very well, I used a couple small washers as spacers and thats all I needed....for the money, its pretty bright in the daylight, will try it again tonight.."thumbsup"

What light bar is that? im tired of waiting for the axial universal. it keep getting pushed back

I drilled new holes in mine as well. Leveled with the rack. Still haven't used it though [emoji53]

I have been picky in waiting for the right light bar that floats my boat. I have wanted a bar that looks realistic, mounts direct to the JCR rack without modification and can run off 3s. Axial's bar that fits the JCR rack looks right and mounts right; but, leaves 8 wires out the back and takes away from the look. I ran that bar for a while unwired.

Finally I found and went with Pro-Line's 5" curved light bar. Very bright. Mounts up to the JCR rack without modification of the rack. It can run off 6V or 12V direct. I feel it looks realistic with it's bulb style.
