Go ahead and send me an email and I will put you in our database for customers to contact when the first production run of rocks are complete. Those who are in the database will get the first news on purchasing info. We are making a last minute design change in how the rocks connect to the base. We are incorporating a key way system that locks the two together without the use of velcro. It delayed production a little, but we should be under way shortly.

Any new word on this? I would love to be able to pick up a few small crawlers and some of these for home for me and my kids for Christmas.

I didn't read every post here but I have to ask are these going to be suitable for outdoors? Will they wilt in a the hot Nevada desert sun??A group of us are working on building a complete RC race park that will have all the radio control disciplines including a large rock crawling set up and someting like this could be just the ticket for changing everything around every once in a while!

Well, for places like where I live, it's probably the makes the most sense. All we have here is rip rap sh!t rocks.. Even if we do bring rocks in from other places, they are still awful for crawling on... :-(

The rocks have a custom texture that provides excellent grip for all types of RC crawling tires. Real rocks with this type of grip are hard to find. The rocks also allow the user to change up the course in 6 different steps for each individual pod from easy ~ hard. On the easy side, even the very most beginner can still climb. The hard setting yields lines difficult for the highly experienced. The rocks weigh only 8 lbs, so they are easy to move around.

Each rock pod was designed with the RC crawler in mind. The varying sizes and heights of each rock are suited for the belly clearance of standard rock crawling trucks.

All these features makes running them outside a great option. You can recess them into the dirt and make them apart of your landscape. You can hose them off and wash them if they get too dirty.

Did I mention that they set up perfect for the 1/18th scale crawler?
