LJ Trail rig.

Not sure right now but I can check tonight. It's very thin though.

I looked on the aluminum today, no markings, sorry. I picked it up at Ace hardware. It was as thin as they had.

I got a little more work done today. Highline fenders turned out great8) Thanks again to ser3100 for the ideas on these.

A little more work tonight. Sliders are pretty much done, front bumper still has quite a bit of work.

Damn man your making me look bad! I need to get this thing built. Nice work on those highlines.

I don't know about that. I keep on thinking that it's not looking as good as yours. I don't particularly like the screws in the panels but I think they're needed.

Believe me that was one of my biggest gripes about metal paneling. But a quick visit to Microfasteners website changed that. I was able to get button head screws in 2mm that almost look like 1:1 rivets used on the real thing. They even have them down to 1.6mm if you want. I know its too late since you already drilled the holes but maybe youll be able to use some of thier stuff for future builds. Check em out!

Bumpers are done. I'm hoping to build the cage tomorrow night. I might re-do the winch hook loop. Too big looking. I'm trying to decide what to do for a spare tire mount but I think I have a good idea.

Damn it thats nice! I liked how you mounted the winch lower into the frame rails. I wish i did that but oh well, the new LJ i will!

If you could pull off the way Rokmen did thier spare tire mount on thier rig Jake, that would be the ish! I tried everyway possible but the tires were too big and i didnt feel like cutting the interior or making the cage higher. Check it out!

I saw that mount off the link on one of your threads. Super cool but just not feasible. The tires that will end up on this will be even bigger than the TSL's, not by a ton but definitely bigger.

I need to plan out my cage before I build it. Too many times I just start building and let it flow and then I'm not 100% happy with it. I don't want this to be that way. Find some build ideas too. I am leaving the 2nd row of seats. Too many scale points there to not take advantage of it.

Ohhh snap. (Did I just say snap, lol) this is looking great. And looking powerful too. Your not playing around this time huh?
