Losi 1/10th Roller

Do the first 200 pre orders get a direct line to your office for parts???

:evil::razz::evil::razz::evil:

Just kidding... can't wait to get mine, so close, yet so far... I am afraid to ask Corey where I am on the list...

Soon as i get mine!! i will be giving it the sierra nevada testing here in lake tahoe. I raced losi back in the day always got me on the podium!! way to go losi "thumbsup"

Good to hear Rich...

"I'm also feeling confident about the durability, but we'll never know for sure until they are out there"

I can relate to that statement when it comes to the differences between the initial test product, when done in smaller runs during the intial testing and design stages, there are tighter controls over QA of the material & production. As compared to mass production runs where QA can only sample a small % of the manufactured product being released...hence what happened with the creeper.

As I've seen in racing, Losi has always had a top notch off-road product, so I'm sure this crawler will follow in those foot steps.

Look what I found...

Just in time for the SDRCRC and SocalRCRC series finals "thumbsup"

Everything has a very nice finished feel to it, and the box and manual look great.

I'm currently tied for the Socal series lead with Rockpiledriver Brian, who will be driving his 2.2 Losi in the finals  Should be a fun comp 8)

Yea, sure, rub it in Jake!
Why dont ya just send me your old rig and I will take care of her for ya.

And a stupid question, I bought the Losi mini servo for the dig and it didnt come with an arm. Does the kit come with servo arms or do I have to buy one, and what arm fits the Losi servo?

Just saw Rubbaneck run this thing at our local comp yesterday. I have to admit that I thought this rig has been over-hyped. However, after seeing it pull ridiculous lines with ease (Jay's driving skills are also key), this thing is a force straight out of the box! He pulled off a 1st place finish among 31 drivers including ton of MOA's and built shaftys with highly skilled drivers. I couldn't believe how this thing seems to hover over the rocks. Anyway, this thread already has 8 million posts so I thought I might as well add my $0.02.:-P

dude i hope it doesnt take forever and a day the anticipation is already killer

OK, I've read most of the 50 plus pages of posts on this thing and still haven't located any info on what pitch the idler (spur) gear is on the tranny. Since you have to supply the pinion to determine your final drive ratio what pitch is required ... 48 ... 64 ... ? I didn't notice anything in the Comp Crawler PDF manual that pointed me in the right direction.

If I've overlooked this in a previous post, sorry. Maybe this should have been split out to its own Brand Specific Tech category along time ago. Keeping track of all the details in one thread is getting tedious.

I'm pretty sure it wouldbe 48 pitch as that's the standard for 1/10 off road vechiles. save the 64 for the pan cars and the 43 for the supers.

Thanks Nathan for the compliments, and it was nice meeting you and your Lady too. 8)

Had a stellar performance this past weekend running the Comp Crawler at our local comp. I'm still running a very light weight set-up that just floats across the rocks with little ease. I had the Losi Comp Claws magnets turned on high the whole day and made it stick to the rocks like a champ.

After a few months of tweeking on this rig I can honestly say it's going to be a great contender with a little practice and patience.

Is it MAY yet! :-P
