These vids are making me sick to my stomach. I'm Like a kid on Christmas eve staring at them dreaming about whooping the MOAs! STOP! Now I'm gonna go cry. :(

That thing is just STUCK to the earth!!! Glad to hear the shipping is on track,,,here's a thought,,,,if someone could be going thru all the posts here and pulling out the technical ones that we will all be looking for in the future so it can be stickied on the brand specific forum when it get's up,,,
There is ALOT of great info here but hard to find in 56+ pages,,,,"thumbsup"

That thing is just STUCK to the earth!!!

what they arent telling you is those are special rocks with metallic properties that they put out there for the video and the 7oz in front and 4oz in back is actually the weight of the magnets in the wheels. i just hope mine comes with the magnets as well. all kidding aside great job rich and jake on the video and all the hard work

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere before but this thread is getting a bit lengthy so please forgive my ignorance. Is there any way to use a dx3.0 to enable the front and rear dig?

Swapping in a 3 pos. switch would still only leave me with 2 pos. correct, or would the servo center when the circuit is interrupted in the center pos. on the switch? Thought I saw a thread on this somewhere but I haven't been able to find it.

Here is how you do it with a DX3.0, JRXS3 and JRXS3 pro,

It does not have the traditional 3 position switch but you can simulate a 3 position switch. Start with the 3rd channel set up for 2p in the menu ( I also use grip C button). Center your 3rd channel trim to zero. Now you go from 2. neutral (center) to 1. left microswitch, hit servo reverse and you go to 3. right microswitch.

I keep it so I have front DIG with the grip C button normally when I need rear burn it is a quick servo reverse (hit one button (increase or decrease on under the LCD) and grip C and I now have rear burn. Keep the AUX servo reverse screen up and it is very intuitive. I hit it with my thumb knuckle to reverse the servo. The key to this setup is that you start with you AUX channel at zero trim and leave it there. The trim points and EPAs for position 2 and simulated 3 are not independently adjustable. I use it all the time and it works great.

This is how I set it up for a berg as long as the linkage is setup so the end points are the same for both front and rear DIG this will work.

vid looks awesome. and good to hear we are still very close to having these in our hands.

thanks for the explanation Mic on the phantom 3P for the 3.0. i also used a similar setup to control my hilux 3sp with a 3.0. it took a little practice but as with anything you get used to it. planned to purchase dx3r when i go to pick up the losi...but ima have to buy a slash now too(thanks cory)

So when are they releasing this rig exactly?

These are shipping to dealers next week...after that it depends how close to or how quickly shops get them shipped to themselves. Thus the reason I can't give you an exact date you might be able to get one.

Not sure I wana know as I've only been pre-ordered 3 months or so.... anyway... is this first shipment going to cover the existing pre-orders? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Never mind... called my LHS and they called horizon... since my LHS only ordered 2 they were moved off what they called the "promo list" and will be getting the comp crawlers the next go around... ETA was 3 weeks

thats probably a question best suited for your lhs or wherever you ordered the truck from. i preordered in january and my lhs could only get 3 the first go around. i requested 2 of them.

LOL, Jake did do most of the stunt driving but I have one or two moments in there LOL.

Both Crawlers in the vid are bone stock with the exception of about 7 ounces of weight in each front tire and 4 ounces in each rear tire.
Jake may have had different shock locations on his rig, but when he is stunt driving my Comp Crawler (kit colors), that one is using all stock locations out of the box.

Both were using Blue Rock Claws (kit tires)

Rich, what was the foam set up in this vid? Looks like stock by the reaction of the tires.

I ordered one yesterday, and got this answer:
Losi just informed us that there are complications with the crawler so the release date will be postponed until mid to late June. I do apologize for the delay but this is out of my hands, we too are anxiously awaiting the release.

Is this true??
