maryland roll call

Noobie here, just picked up a Wraith after much debate. Stopped in to the RCTRACK and mentioned I was looking more towards a scale or crawler and kind of got a cold shoulder. Oh well, I'm sure there are plenty of places to go crawling.

Does anyone go to Great Falls or other areas around DC?

Moving to Hollywood MD in a couple weeks, di a quick visit a few weeks ago to secure a house and from what I could tell in just a couple days it looks like there could be some good spots to crawl around there.

I'm up in baltimore but i think a couple guys on the Maryland trail hunters Facebook page are down around there.

I am also around Annapolis. Kinda wondered what spots people used. I still need to actually get a crawler. My yeti has gone the go fast route.

All this crap weather has kinda been a downer, haven't really wanted to waterproof brand new electronics.

I'm over on the eastern shore (Salisbury). I dont know anyone thats in to rc crawling over here. I'd love to meet up with some others that are into crawling (or any RC really).

I just got a wraith after at least a year of debating over it. I have a 1/5 scale baja, a 1/7 scale xo-1, and the yeti xl. I really enjoyed crawling with the xl but it has waaaay too much power. That's why I finally pulled the trigger on the wraith. Can't wait to put it to a real test instead of just crawling over scrap wood and bricks.

I moved to Huntingtown, Md in June 2014. Still looking for any good crawling area. I have enough land in my back yard to create my own track, including water.
I have a scx10, wroncho and my son has a wraith.

Hi all!

I live near Hunt Valley and just picked up a Wraith about a month ago. The wraith is disassembled at the moment, but I'm really looking forward to some parts getting delivered so I can get it back together and actually take it out!

Ellicott City, I run in the woods behind my house. Maybe the parks if I pack up my truck and bring it with me. Not really into any kind of competition, just enjoy playing once in a while.

Well I suppose I'll add my name to the roster. I am in Frederick, and have an SCX10; looking to add another here real soon. I enjoy the more technical rock sections and steep climbs. I am always down to run trails or find new places.

I'm a total newb in Parkville. Walking distance from Doublerock. Got my son a Slickrock for Christmas and have been fixing it up for him (us) with all the appropriate improvements. Lots of parts in the mail still. Can't wait for Spring so he and I can go trailing with it.

Oreo, if you're on Facebook, Maryland Trail hunter group meets once a week for runs, often at double rock and gunpowder
