messed up dreams...

I fixed the headlights on the 4-wheeler one day and that night I dream that I was checking it and the headlights wouldn't work! Thankfully they still worked the next day :ror:

I quit smoking 5 years ago. Sometimes I dream I'm smoking and feel so guilty about it. When I wake I realize I didn't after all. I smoked reds for 9 years.

As a child I had the nightmare thing BAD. Still get the occasional.

When I installed Car Audio. I would fall asleep on the couch and my wife would tell me to go to bed. I would respond to her after I finish this radio install.

I have had the dejau vue dreams. I won't remember the whole thing just a part of it.

Years ago I got really into dreams, and what they mean etc. Then I started working on having lucid dreams. Now I have a very lucid dream about 1 out of every 5 dreams I have. Almost all dreams I have, I know I am dreaming, but most I dont have absolute control. It's very strange to be in complete control while dreaming. Sometimes its a struggle to get control even though you know you are dreaming.. its almost like the dream has a set path, and its doing everything it can to stay on that path. Also, I can now wake myself up during any dream if I don't like whats going on.

Once, I was having a dream where I was struggling to take control of what was going on.. when I finally did, I ran in an opposite direction the dream wanted me to go. I ran through a doorway that I wasn't supposed to go in and the room was incomplete. Almost like a glitch in a video game where you walk through a wall, or fall through the ground and there are gray space where the game wasnt completed. That was one of the strangest things that has ever happened in my dreams.

I realate to this alot.

Yea I did also. Years ago I watched this native tribe on some show claim to be the dream masters.

So I adapted their methods of controlling my dreams. It works for the most part. You can turn around and attack your attacker, etc.... Go places you are scared to go.

But not always? Some dreams you are at the mercy of the dream period.

I have my own ideas on what dreams are. But I don't want to freak anyone out:mrgreen:

My weirdest dreams that bother me have to do with driving. I am a ways from home and usually at night. I have to take this huge bridge to get home. It turns into this ridiculously steep thing that becomes a one lane that is just wide enough to fit the width of the cars tires on. And you driving at such a steep angle you can't see the road in front of you, just climbing into the sky. The whole time, just on the verge of falling off. You can't see where you are going but have to go at it at a fast pace to keep the momentum going up the hill.

Other times it huge bridges where as your driving along, huge chunks of the pavement are missing. Just holes that go way down to the water. The bridges are always way up in the sky. In this one I have to swerve or drive over tiny things left spanning the holes so I don't fall through.

I know it's fawked up. I drive as a huge part of my day and over bridges all the time. They never bother me in the least. I actually like it and the view. I work on lifts and extension ladders all the time and heights never bother me at all. Must be a metaphor for don't screw up as there is no safety net and you will be screwed if you don't do it just right. :?:

Meh, I can handle it:) Lets hear it"thumbsup"

LOL

Well I guess a little dose of the unknown wont hurt anyone8)

We assume today that we understand most everything about the human body. I always have said until we can cure the common cold we really know nothing. Kidding of course but in all actuality little is understood about our brain and how we think as we do. I mean we can measure the electronic pulses and activity in our brain and nervous system. But this is not our thoughts or dreams. Rather our brain still monitoring and controlling our bodies.

Now we think our brain is central to all thought. I mean we look through our eyes right? We can kind of feel our thoughts in our head right? So this must be our brain working? Thats the common thought anyways.

Tell me know in your dreams do you feel in anyways attached to a sleeping body?

Got to run, will be back later!
