So, long and short of the meeting is this...
Comp Scene: We will be running a 8 comp season. 2.2 Pro class remains unchanged. The 2.2 Shafty class is turning into the 2.2 Trail class. Basically intended to be for 2.2 scalers, but opening up to wraiths and 2.2 shaftys. We are also running the 1.9 Trail class again like last year, but are opening it up to allow the Twin Hammers as well. We still have some details to hammer out, but hopefully you can see the intent is to give most everyone a class to run in.
Outside the Comp Scene: We want to experiment with the other types of events this year. Events such as the G6 and U4. We decided to have 2 of each events. For sure run the 2 Trail classes in these, but I don't see the 2.2 Pros running in this. Also, we didn't talk about it, but I think we should keep with the Howl Krawl tradition.
We still need to firm up dates. I'll be posting a separate thread for us to hash that out. Mike also started a couple threads to talk more about the Trail classes.
