Mojave drift truck

is there a reason why you went from 4 link/panhard to leaf springs in the rear?can you give more detail on the trans you made? is it 2 or 3 gears internal? and did you print the gears also, or buy gears/shafts for the internals? can/would you make more trans to sell?or the case, and the end user could finish it?any updates on the new body?

I'd actually be interested in this, as well. I've been having a blast with my RWD drifter, but I'd like to build a hardbody rig and the Mojave is likely the direction I'd go since I already have one. Unfortunately, I don't have a 3D printer so if you're interested in making any of these parts to sell, it looks like at least a couple of us would be interested. "thumbsup"

I switched to leafs because i was having trouble getting the rear suspension soft enough for my liking, plus i was told it would not work.
so that was like a double dog dare to me. So i had to....
and it works great, way better than the 4 link setup i originally done.

The trans is a 2 gear setup, final gear from an axial trans, and a large pinion, i think 26t pinion if i remember right.

the next transmission will be slightly taller, i have a very hard time fitting the driveshaft under the motor and not rubbing the motor. that was one of the biggest challenges of the trans.

the trans is printed center with g10 plates on both sides. the side plates have upper control arm mounts as a part of it, not sure it would work for different types of setups for use with other arms/parts for resale use.

thanks for the reply.i guess i'll try the 4 link, since ialready have the parts.no, your' tranny set up wouldn't work for me.i'm using stock scx10 rails and skid, so i'd need a tranny that would mount to the existing holes.guess i'll see if I can rig up something myself.but thanks again for the repy, and info.
