I have an idea of a build im going to be working on soon, which is shortening a mojave body down to a 10.2 inch wheelbase. Ive seen some drift cars that run the body with the same wheelbase, and based off of what i saw in those pictures it looks like the bed was about as long as the 4 door version.

So if anybody happens to have a mojave 2 door cab and 4 door bed, can you possibly set them together to see if the body lines will line up, and possibly check to see what the wheelbase would be?

This was at the beginning of my Shorty project, the bed was from my LWB Kit, just bolted straight onto the Mojave cab.

This was right around a 10 inch wheelbase if I remember right.

Thanks! If that’s on a swb chassis, it looks like I might be able to get away with using it but it’s going to be really close.

I ordered a complete normal tf2 body yesterday and may still pick up just the 4 door cab.

The SWB chassis wont work. I found that out the hard way lol. On Rc4wd's website it says the wheelbase is 9.9 inches. However, it says its like 242 mm, which is actually 9.5 inches. I had to extend the SWB chassis to work with this body.

I ended up filling the gaps in between the bed and cab to make it look like one. I sure do miss this truck. I want to build another one this winter.

so let me make sure I am understanding this correctly. you take the SWB tf2 , mount a cab and use the shorter bed from the LWB. and Make a lil shorty P/U.. I am liking the looks.
