Monday night fun comp @ The Crawl Space!

I think if this is to be kept as a Fun Comp series, "Run what ya Brung" should be the norm. If there are enough 2.2's and 1.9's showing up, then split them but it seemed like more 1.9's last week (or am I wrong?).

Either way my batteries are charging right now...see you all in about 9 hours "thumbsup"

Well Brandon and I talked about it last night and we have decided to keep the run what you brung, and for the time trials part of it devide the 1.9 and 2.2's up then in the final run we will space the gates out far enouph to allow the 1.9's to pick there lines a little better and that will give the same chance as the 2.2's. We will also be doing the last run a little different it will based on a timed course, or based on laps, with rollovers putting you at the back of the pack not just out of the race. This way it will keep us all running and having fun until the end. top 3 get 3 minutes off there first runs.

Let me know what you think.

thanks
jerry

I'm game with that format.

I'll be there with the Wraith tonight attempting to crawl it  . The Honcho is undergoing a new steering knuckle and link setup. Got tired of not having any steering.

I know I sound like I complain a lot, but I'll run just about any format as I just want to get some wheel time. 8)

Is it possible to list scores for each course, as well as the total, so that those who have to leave early can see how they did on the courses they ran?

Can do "thumbsup"

Is anyone bringing sportys tonight or is it all just scalers?

Mostly scalers come out on Mondays but we run the sporty's with the scalers. I'm still gettin my sporty rig back together, we'll bring sporty back!

Thanks to Brandon and Awesome Jerry for runnin the Scaler fun comp tonight and everyone that helped set courses and judged.

Big thanks to Skidplate for coming out before work to snap some pics of scaler shenanigans, much appreciated :)

I, personally; like how the format is running now, everyone was having fun "thumbsup"

We'll be moving the scaler/sporty fun comps to Tuesday's now so keep an eye out for the new thread.

Ikaika told me he wants to get sportys going, so I'm putting one together for next week if you want someone to beat up on.

Yea I got home lastnight and forgot we had dinner plans with family so I didn't make it.

I'll try to make it next week.

The TSL swampers in the G8 compound haven't treated me wrong yet. Both the 1.9 and 2.2 sizes perform really well.

Tons of traction and decent sidehill ability. Sidewalls roll over pretty easily with older stock proline memory foams though. Trying a different setup this next time around.

Thanks for coming out, glad you had a good time "thumbsup"

Any video you can post up would be great!

There was a whole mix of tires runnin last night. I have a set of rok lox that I cut every other outer lug and they hook up pretty well. Awesome Jerry runs the 2.2 flatirons and siped all the lugs and they were doing good as well.

Siping and cutting lugs gives the tire a more aggressive tread pattern and you can still keep the scale look if done right

Hello all,

I want to take a moment and apologize for having deleted a bunch of good photos.

I was viewing them on my system, and typically there are 2 things that happen, I get the photos from the camera and then I delete them from the camera.
Well, I did the second first and that was that.

The good news is that there will be more opportunities to get pics.

The bad news is there were some moments that won't be recreated that were spontaneous to say the least.

See you soon.
