I have a question about installing LED's in the dome shaped head light and parking light buckets that come in the SCX10 JK kit. I'm referring to the clear lexan buckets that get attached to the inside of the body.

I know you drill / ream a hole in the center of the dome, on both head light and parking light buckets.
What is the best way to attach the LED to the dome shaped buckets? Should I just use some Shoe Goo and glue them in? Should I get some of the LED holders and go that route? I like the idea of using LED holders mounted into the light buckets, but not sure if they will be too bulky.

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated!"thumbsup"

I'm gonna make a Radio Smack trip tomorrow. I'll take a look at some LED holders. If I can find some that won't look too funky, I may get a couple and try them. If not, I'll get out the Shoe Goo and go to town!!!

Shoe Goo isn't bad to work with. Just gotta use really small amounts, especially for something like that. You definitely can't get crazy with it!!!

anyone tried using a hot glue gun ?
or would the the heat from the glue melt/warp the lexan buckets ?

Hot glue doesn't stay. Shoe goo works better.

another tip get aluminum tape, use a piece on the inside of each bucket. It will reflect better.
