Specs so far:
CMS on axles 1&2 w/3 link, hand bros axle brackets
Beef tubes in axles 1&2
Od/stock/ud gearing
Various alum c-hubs/knuckles/lockouts
Steel tranny internals and spur (may switch to 32p)
Traxxas 21t titan throw-away motor

Its all still in mockup stage, I'm always impatient and excited to run a new build  Once the electronics get all wired up and its a roller, then the fun begins...

oh hell yes. This is great love the double front axle turning....love it. Rock it big dawg.

I have my 2nd 6x6 on the way as we speak....man cab 6x6 beast. ya I pussed out. No time for what a 6x6 needs.

Ill be watching this"thumbsup"

Bring it brother ! Bring it! Nice fresh start with the ultra twist! definitely 1 to watch and sub!

Much appreciated guys "thumbsup" Fell in love with the old Tatra 813 dual front steering trial trucks.

The backwards frame is mostly because of whats left over, and it seems to be working so far

Moar light on the parts in the pics! "thumbsup"

What pieces specifically you wanna see? I can get some closer shots, these are just a couple quick shots of progress.

Nice build what shell are you going to put?

One word.. Tonka.

kinda lost...
is it 4wheel steering in the front or rear????

Don't follow the traditional direction of the chassis, the knuckles will be forward direction.

Some inspiration that got the ball rolling:

Still needed to do:
All the electrical basically
Driveshafts for axles 1&2
Sleeve a couple random links
Replace some mismatched hardware
And of course the tube work by Mr. Clanker

Really excited about this build but it won't be a quick one.

We'll do our best Mr. Wad
Being weekend warriors, we might get it finished by Xmas...
I have to say, this is one piece of heavy metal. These trial trucks are quite the thing. I'm really liking the dual front steering.

We got a good start today..."thumbsup"

Good start indeed. Like I said, the best stuff takes time "thumbsup"

I'm thinking the front weight bias of the extra axle will help with climbing, we shall see.

That things going to be sweet when it's done. Are you going to keep the tonka look or do something else? Let me know if I can be of assistance on the tube work. I also have some truck stands I made for everyone. I'll send pics to Clanker and bring them next time I'm down.

Progress includes getting it rolling under its own power.. mostly. Still need to do some trickery to an mip dig shaft for the front driveshaft. Also other progress... got with Postclanker and we devised a roller bender to get acceptable bends out of the 1/4" carbon steel tube for the exo and bed work, no pics yet as it wasn't completed at the time. Anycase, onto a couple bad pics.
