My fallout themed twin hammers trail truck.

NICE!!!!!!!!
i dig the figs man. i'm quite the action figure nerd so that always gets bonus points from me when great figures are used on rigs in proper scale and context, which you have in spades here!

and that's a hefty chunk of upgrades you got there!
I'm getting more and more interested in maybe acquiring one of these twin hammers... for a little project i have in mind. ;)
i'd love to try yours if i bump into you at proline!

Thanks! TH crawls very well with some modifications. You are welcome to try at Proline. I'll look for the cat shirts, and you should be able to easily spot the vault 13 truck, it stands out in a sea of Jeeps.

As a Fallout fan, good job! I like the text is scratched into the paint, nice touch.

Haven't touched the TH in a long time. I've been having some trouble with the transmission ever since I put the metal gears in. It doesn't shift properly any more, I think fit may be the shift servo going out.

I did take it out to PLBTF19, where I broke one of the wheel again. While crawling out at horseman park I was getting pretty frustrated with the limited steering angle, so I decided to tear the truck apart and set it up for go fast again. Removed the front locker and replaced with 500k fluid, put the 15t motor back in, and put the desert truck body on the shelf for now. Also added some Duratrax deepwoods tires, which do quite well.

Will have some fun blasting around in rock racer mode for a bit.
