my first TXT-1 w/some ????

I found that beadlocks are a must today, my nose would be against a rock and I would full throttle it and I saw 3 of my tires spinnging thinking at first I blew an axle shaft, but I just saw my tire spinning on the rim. I will install my narrow beadlocks from RC4wd.com, and take pics when they arrive. also I am in need of new tires I don't like the moabs they don't seem to have much tread, I drive on alot of wet dirt and rocks right after the dirt or well mud so the tread blocks are full of mud, curious what you guys would recomend, the mashers, or the imex bogger style? or a diff. tire

Eeepee has a great setup for general crawling you could copy that to a tee and have saved lots of work and frustration for the better vehicle.

Thanks man. I always like to see people actually paying attention to some of the stuff I do. "thumbsup"

Hey uh 97trxuszj, you're close to a good performing set up. The next step should be for you to cut the chassis so you can get those shocks mounted on the top rail.

Two stock motors wired in series with the 9 tooth pinion gears is a great way to go.

You have a lot more questions, but like the other guys say, if you spend some time reading, like the few threads I have on my TXT in all it's different forms, you'll learn a very lot.

Here's two good links for ya to READ!

EeePee: thanks for the advise, I have read your thread a bunch of times, I am gonna run my stock motors with 9 tooth pinions, and like I stated I lowered the body and the chassis, the shocks are mounted to the top rail, I just added some spacers to space them out away from the frame. I will get pics up tomarrow for sure. Thnks for the help again EeePee very good informtion.

updated pics: sence the pics I have cut my wheels and glued my tires on, and installed revo shafts. I also stripped the pinion shaft in the rear axle (bevel gear shaft) so i had to jb weld the gear back onto the shaft to get it to quit spinning.

no naked pics yet soon, and also soone to hve action shots, most of the time I'm out there trying to test something and don't have time for pics, also I am very suprised how well these stock (cut and reversed) tires hooked up on snow covered rocks, very impressed.
