My Kamikaze Kustoms Zero/Berg build

The new Delrin side plate are holding up and working great.I also switched to Traxxas big bore shocks and that made a big improvement.

Joe, I have basically the same set-up as you, I was wondering what weight oil are you using in the Big Bores. If you don't mind sharing this:lol:. BTW Happy B'day8)

Thanks.

To start off if you are running the big bores you need to limit the shock about a 1/4 on the inside to shorten the shock. this will keep you from having to lay the shock down as far.
Second you need to run losi whites in the front and yellows in the rear.
Third try running 30wt in the front and 10wt in the rear. I am trying 30 in the rear now but I have not had a chance to run it enough to make the suggestion to run it yet. I know it works great in the rough stuff but I will be able to say if it works or not by Tuesday.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but have you tried mounting the battery up front over or next to the steering servo? Just wondered what impact this would have on CG.

Well I did not get the finish I was looking for at Nationals but I will take 6th place.I was tied for 5th with Austin Dunn and lost the tiebreaker that went off of course 4.
The Zero 3.5 worked great all day I just wish it would have had a better driver.
I would strongly recommend any of the Kamikaze Kustoms lineup of parts.
Next up a new Zero 4.0 build up"thumbsup"

6TH place Rccrawler 08 Nationals 2.2 Rig

Great job on both your finishes.Your one hell of a driver/competitor and great guy on top of that. Just watch out for them roving claymore mines. You're gonna like the 4.0

You were a great guy to hang out with! Look forward to seeing you again!

And he and Kami did look out for the claymore to my dismay:lol: That was funny. One of the highlights from my trip.

Way to go Joe and Tyler and SERCRC. Thanks to Jason and TCS and all of the supporting vendors!

this thing worked awesome all weekend. i can think of one tough break joe had that would have changed the outcome of the entire event.

congratulations on the finish's again
