My Venom Creeper with various mods

I am also using the losi arms and had my setup the same as yours. I found that by mounting the losi arms vertical with them curving towards the front in the front and the rear in the rear it is a better setup. I was able to use the shocks in stock form (without limiting the travel) and keeping the internal springs. It would be an easy change, and I think you'll like the results.

what kind of losi arms arms are you using as yhe shock mounts ??? I would greatly appreciate your feedback I can't seem to recognize the part !!

I have tried both setups (horisontal and vertical losi arms) and I have to give this one a try before I alter more things.

I like the way I can mount the body now - sitting really low

I still haven't received my alloy shock parts...
I was thinking of replacing the rims - but I will do that when they break or fail to do their job.

1 axle is slightly bent (wheel wobble) - but it does no harm in this speeds...

I will compare my creeper against 2 axial-friends this summer :)

And yes - they are carbon editions of the losi arms

Thx NCRC!

I got a small box in my mail yesterday - thought it was the alloy parts from RCBros - but no....it was PIC processors from Microchip...

Thx smokediver!

But I still haven't got any parts from RCBROS.COM

60 bucks worth of parts

a f**king fraud is what it is...

I emailed them asking about my shipment and...
they replied that they tried to deliver at my adress and it was returned back to sender...
...and they claim they emailed me about wrong adress...

I check my emails several times a day, I verified shipping adress several times at time of order - AND I HAVEN'T GOT ANY EMAIL ABT BAD ADRESS!!!!
I checekd spam filter and everything but there is no evidence of anything shipped at all..

I sent yet another email to William Gauderman (william@rcbros.com) about this feb7 and as of today feb14 I still got no reply

Bad service!

Bad to LIE about sending emails

Bad to begin with without offering service to abroad countries without asking for shipping costs (yes they did add extra for that as well)

Yes I am pissed by now....f**ked up service from a f**ked up company

I done this awhile ago as well...I'm runin 2"3/4 to the bottom of chassis....the next thing you need to buy is some new shocks..... I'm also running my 70mm uper links in the whole I drilled like the ckrc stage 2 kit.....I still have alot of articulation with very few torque twist since I did so "thumbsup"

Yes colbygosdin - that looks close to my setup.

I tried with LOSI arms both ways and I think it is related to the shocks you are running (length/stiffnes)

I received an email

"A package with a Click-N-Ship® label created on usps.com containing the following information is scheduled to be shipped on 02/17/2010."

Finally ...

I cannot determine if my angry post above turned some heads - but it certainly looks that way...only RCBROS can tell....

Finally!

The box arrived yesterday and all parts ordered were present

Now I can start rebuilding the dampers to the alloy bodies and replace the diff-internals with FLM's
Only 1 problem...4feet of snow...

Hi!

Sorry for being inactive in the forum...

My current Creeper got some more mods

I have an 3ch Eurgle radio for my cars - it is doing its job but the 3rd channel is only on/off (can be trimmed)

I always wanted to use this channel for my rear steering but was limited due to the Eurgle simplicity.

I decided to make a CrawlerSpecific device

As I have a few Arduino Pro Mini's lying on my desk that I use for my Quadcopters I figured - why not use the Arduino chip to fulfil my needs.

Input on this device is:
Front steering
3rd channel

output is:
Front steering
Rear steering

The 3rd channel is now modified on my Eurgle to have a momentary switch instead of an on/off button(trainer switch salvaged from an old Esky radio)

The switch gives a full signal when flipped and the Arduino reads the signal changing modes in an endless loop

1 Rear steer is same direction as front steering

/ /

/ /

2 Rear steer is inverted

/ /

\ \

3 Rear steer is neutral

4 Front steer is neutral

So my crawler is now top notch and so is the cheap Chinese radio :D
The Arduino chipset is safely located inside a film cannister

drain-o

So to remove the colour from the metal I could soak the parts in Drain-0 or crystal drain-o? Do you have to boil it? I have an old gold pan rc-10 that would look good with the orange off it. Also i could repaint it another colour.

No you dont need to boil it..but keep an eye on it...check the parts at about 20-25 minutes..about 30 minutes should strip them.

With caustics it was done in a matter of minutes so don't leave it there...

I used hot water and the process generates even more heat - a glass jar like mine could shatter (a metal-cannister is better and more safe)
