I had a "toy" RC boat/yacht when I was a kid. Lets say 1985ish.
I say toy because it was all plastic and probably came form Toys R Us, not kit or anything like that.
I recall using standard C or D batteries. Maybe it had a plug for a stick pack but I never used one. Batteries were inserted through a hatch that I think was where the read stern is on a yacht.
I know it had twin motors and twin stick control with full forward/reverse. I recall a bow railing as well.
Looking at a modern yacht I think the attached image is close. Anyone have any ideas?
