So a couple days ago, I just purchased my first Yeti. This is my 3rd RC as I have only been in the hobby about a year. My first two rigs were RTR.

This Yeti, was a kit that was finished but had no electronics in it. The purchase came with an ESC and motor. I may take the RX/TX off of my other car for now.

So my question is...the following components, will they all work together without any issue? Is there anything special I need to do when putting it all together. I have never installed any of these components besides a servo before.

I've spent a TON of time on the different sub forums and searching, but I am still not comfortable. Please, speak to me as if I were a small child.....or a golden retriever. Literally ANY tips or tricks would be greatly appreciate.

Hitech 7955TG servo
Reedy 550-SL 3500KV motor
Mamba monster (original) ESC
SR201 Spektrum RX
DX3E Spektrum TX
Venom 5000Mah, 20C, 2S lipo

A big thanks in advance!

Exactly like that one
If there was just one tip I would give to everyone who owns a yeti, it is to periodically check the ring and pinion gears in the front and back diffs. These are the highest wear parts in the whole car but as long as you keep them clean and properly greased they should last a long time

Hemistorm said he shimmed the differentials on his XL and doesn't have premature ware on the gears any longer. Just thinking out loud.
