I don't see that as being much of a stretch. All of my rigs are basically bashers at this point. :lol:

I'd consider my ar60 based rig the ultimate car for me. In the 6 month's it's bee alive is has finished second in the U4RC 2.2 trophy championship. Second in 2.2 Ultra at the KOH G6. Trial runs, crawling, drifting, big air jumps, empty pools, skateparks, shortcourse tracks, and FOFF... even did on road for a bit last month. :ror:

I like to think of my 4s 4 pole wraith as my "scale basher".

Exactly my point. All of my rigs are all around rigs right now. The crawler has a 35 turn integy in it right now so its certainly not fast but I still do hill climbs and whatnot with it. The exo and TTC rig haul ass so they get bashed regularly. :lol:

Axial rigs are too small, weak, and light to be real "bashers".
Agreed. Against a buggy, truggy or short course from the well reputated they don't stand a chance. Making them to the needed speed and capabilities needed takes almost too much, and it would still be to weak in impacta. They aren't designed for this kind of driving or speed in any way.
My kid drove my Slash into a concrete wall at full speed. You should try that with a Wraith that does 1/3 or the speed, it would be in pieces. It has 30ft drops, long jumps and rough landings. Simply flip it over and continue driving. Some minor upgrades but mainly a stock Slash Ultimate.
I've decided to go 4-pole brushless on my Wraith, but never expect it do endure the same. If you've tested a well built truggy on 6S power bashing will never be the same. And it would still be a lot cheaper than a heavily modified Wraith.
With the upgrades i have in order for my Wraith it flies well past the $1000 mark. Check what you can build for that amount if you try a stock bullet proof Team Assosciated kit.

A losi micro can be a basher if you drive it that way. All my rigs are on AR60'S except the exo and they have all stood up to everything I've thrown at them. Although I don't drive my junk into walls or curbs at full speed so I guess im wrong.
The exo has taken some serious abuse and other than a few spur gears, a rear arm with an elongated hinge hole nothing has failed. I swapped rear dog bones into the front with fuel tubing in the cups to keep them centered and locked the center diff. Then I snapped off the 3mm shaft in the CC 3800 motor. I just installed a CC 5700 with 11/54 gearing so we'll see what breaks next. :lol:

I can somehow see an EXO converted to an SC truck by Axial...Most likely not a top competitor right off the bat for world competition but the fun part would be making it competitive on a local racing scale...Just would hope its not a jeep commanche body :/

Its not really about what you got in your rigs. We all know you are proud of your 3s lipo and dana60s....i mean ar60s. Its about design and durability at speed. Axial products don't have the width, wheelbase, and suspension to compete with real "bashers". In case you weren't aware, there's a whole segment of rc dedicated to real basher rigs. I can drive a kia like a racecar - it don't make it a racecar.

You mean on a short course track? Yeah you are right.
On the second part of your statement, my rig does 23 mph. I smash it flying through the air into 2 foot rocks, over and over, once a month. I've seen well built 4x4 SC trucks attempt to do it, and fail without making a lap.

That's why I said "scale basher". I don't jump my wraith 30' but it regularly gets jumped 10'. It does great monster truck style backflips and goes 25+mph. Perfect scale basher imo. I enjoy it a lot more than bashing 1/8 scale buggies and independent suspension monster trucks that I have had.

Ive always used my rigs for their intended use..Maybe the reason I still haven't broken my stock steering knuckles and c hubs just yet...If I drove it like my 1/8 scale Custom buggy I built I may need a lot of new upgrades.

I took my wraith to a sc track in Denver with a bunch of real bashers. Funny thing is I was the only one that had to replace rear shafts when minor accidents snapped the wheel and tire at the pin. Twice. Everyone thought it was real funny to see a tire separate and roll 40 feet.
