NEW HSP 1/24 crawler

Axles definitely look like worm drive. Very similar to the losi. I kinda like the tires for something different. Might be worth checking out for the price. Maybe the parts might work ok for a scale build.

Any one snag one of these yet

I ordered one last week and it shipped the same day, but I won't have it in my hands for another week or 2 yett.

Just in case anyone missed it, read the discussions about the truck on Banggood. They are getting a few upgrade parts soon and even a matching short course truck.

Ill be interested too... i try and get trekkers from cl for 60-70 each so this in my price

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 3

You guys better snag one of those HSP crawlers while they are around.Banggood started stocking these Hbx 1:24 scale crawlers for $110 apiece this week.I got a 3 channel Flysky transmitter with my Hsp for the price of one of these Hbx trucks.

That thing looks like it has sumo axles on it. Pretty much identical, really. Wheels too for that matter. The chassis is totally different though. Looks interesting. Not quite sure if I like those tires or not.

Thanks a lot for pointing that out.I need a few months to recover before I can think about another truck. But if its a version of the sumo then I'm better off buying a real sumo since they are $20 cheaper, unless those ag tires are nice and sticky lol.I'm gad to see new models coming out though.

I agree, It is nice to see new models. It means the micro hobby is definitely not dying! The more I look at that thing, the more I think "FOFF". Not sure if it's worth $20 more for tires and chassis.

what chassis is that?

can you do a video of it performing?
I like those tires.. more for a non real 100% functional rig where crawling is the most priority but more for a universal say TTC rig... "thumbsup"

Sorry I have a cheap tablet that only shares links on facebook, twitter, etc or I would've just posted a link. Its not my truck banggood just added it onto their website and the best I could do was steal their pictures to post a and type a description lol. They have two 1:24 crawlers now, the $70 Hsp and the $110 Hbx.Just search 1:24 rc on banggood and you'll see both.I was just looking for upgrade parts for the Hsp and stumbled on the Hbx truck, they still don't have any parts for either truck yett tho. They are supposed to be getting a leaf spring chassis for the Hsp truck and I'm anxous to see its price.

wow that is sharp Id buy it for $108 and remove the body posts... hell comes with 2.4ghz, lipo and all...

other one looks like a ax10 style frame... but still is it worth it vs spending the extra $42 and getting the losi???

side note..still getting losi trekkers off of CL for $60 used is the best deal.. hah..

Package Included:
1 x 1/24 rc mini crawler
1 x 2.4G transmitter
1 x 6.4V lipo battery
1 x balance charger

Sorry my tablets acting up so I'm learning to post from my phone right now.It came to the US with China's charger.

I was needing to make some Losi to Just connectors anyway so I only needed to make 2 adaptors for this, the other 2 I already needed.

The tires are tiny for a crawler but it looks like the wheels are the same size luckily since I ordered Mikey Thompsons already

It's wheelbase is a little shorter then a trail trekker. My Trekker is in progress but that's a Trail Trekker with a Revell Dodge Ram model as a body next to it.

It binds like crazy.Im just talking about the springs, I haven't even driven mine yett. But the shocks are poor quality and get into a bind instead of compressing, luckily I Installed a no shock torsion bar chassis in my trail Trekker so I have spare shocks.Ill let everyone know how Losi shocks work later this week.

I'm scared to run lipo through this transmission.Im going to use the 4.6v for now but I'll be using lipo eventually even if I need a Losi tranny.

Most of these parts are completely different. Its the same design but obviously from different molds. The axles as an example split different directions.

For its price it's actually fairly capable.I PROMISE one thing. This little truck runs 10x quieter then my Losi ever has.I can barely hear it run I'm amazed!

It's tires kill it's performance it needs ground clearance badly. It made it to the top of my biggest hill then lowsided on its belly.

We will name this hill Mount Mosin lol.It is to tall to fit inside of my gun cabinet or I'd have it locked up.

It actually ran 50% of my course tho.

My Losi won't even pull itself up this ledge so I'm just happy it made it to it.

It drove right up this ledge no problem, I can stop and take off anytime on this section. The tires grip fine they are the softest I've seen they are just short with might appeal to scale builders.

For its price I'm thrilled with this truck.

The wheels and tires interchange.im going to wait a few days to put my Mickey Thompsons on the Hsu wheels so I can test the hip tires traction with my Losi running 7.4v 450 mah.It will also give me time to see if the hip will handle the extreme amount of weight I added to the wheels off of my Losi.Im liking the little hip truck though.

One thing I would like to note. The battery that came with the hsp started melting charging on the nimh charger that came with my trail trekker.I doubt I'll keep the hsp's battery it doesn't have much power anyway 4.6v 150mah, it's slower then imaginable with that battery and even slows more when you steer.
