Today I went and rode my bike at Terry Hershey Park in West Houston (I10/Bltwy 8) and there are quite a few good crawling spots out there (near Eldridge)! I plan to make a trip out there again and bring one of my crawlers.

Anyone make it out there regularly?

What part of town are you in?

I'll try to get out there again and bring my crawler and camera.

I used to ride my bike down through the Ant Hills to hershey park about every other weekend, that was a few years ago. Nice area, if the trails are still there they would make a nice trail run also, just gotta watch for bikers.

I think most areas in Houston will be more suited for Rock Racing than pure crawling.

Well, when they rebuilt the bridges over I10 they used a LOT of big rocks around the base of the bridge. There are spots for scalers and crawlers right next to one another. There weren't too many bikes on the dirt trails....most were on the paved path (wimps)...

I would head back out there today, but I've gotta go school my boss on the golf course! I wonder if either of us will break 100?

its real close to taft down by the bayou and there is a block wall close to the parking and its perfect"thumbsup"

Awesome!

I hope to have some time to head back out to TH park tomorrow morning...I'll snap a few pics!

I'm one of the wimps who rides on the path :D Actually, I usually avoid the hassle and stick to the streets... but Hershey is nice for a slow cruise. LOTs of trail blazing paths.... never really looked for rocks to crawl.

Hey i'am also interested in hitting some trails with you guys. I live in liberty lakes by hwy90 and beltway 8. Also i have been looking around some spots and i found that crosby is a great spot fro 2.2 and 1.9,the only downfall is that there is alot fourwheelers running around but other than that its kool.I think they charge to go in becouse is a private area and i know some of you can afford the gas and and extra smack on the face but i just wanted to bring it out to you all. I'am down to guet toguether on a sunday and hit these trails like there is no tomorrow. I'am almost done with my 2.2 trail crawler lr3 hard body wich is sweet."thumbsup"

That park is minutes from my place, I would even be available after work on some days. Post up if your headed out there

I wish I could head out there, but unless, for some weird reason, a LOT of people decide to not drive on I10 one weekday after work, I doubt I'll head out there on anything but the weekend.
