Hey Guys, I just got the NEW SSD-RC Wide rear Axle kit for the Axial Yet (Part No. SSD00018 )
and I just got it installed and I must say, the fit and the quality of this product is very nice!
What this kit does is it makes the rear axle the same width as the Yeti front knuckles so it allows
you to run wheels with the same hub size, so no more running wheels with different hub sizes!
It also allows you to use wheels with 'fixed' hubs.
SSD-RC also offers replacement Axle shafts (Part No. SSD00022), just in case you'll ever need them!
This is truly a great hop up for the YETI!!"thumbsup"

Now I can use my awesome TSS Versantes with the fixed hubs!

Thanks SSD-RC for this great product!

Hi KRAWLR4life,

Do you mean that if use that 'Rear Axle Kit', we can use the same hubs(e.g. slw 225) at the front and rear?
thx

Agreed, excellent fix for the goofy front/rear offset on the Yeti. I didn't realize that when I bought it. SSD has some nice stuff "thumbsup".

just got my yeti and didnt realize this track width difference front and rear until now searching for this fix.

How hard to pull and install axles? any need to pull rear diff cover or no?

Should be zero need to pull diff cover, usually just 1 of the link mount screws as shown in the 4th pic to let the axle slip through.
Axle should just slip right into the locker.

It is however, if you can spring for it, a really good time to dive into the rear though & upgrade to decent spool (Holmes Hobbies/Locked-Up/SuperShafty) over the stock locker.
